At this point, I’d take it if it’s just that, and Mulder’s welcome her in his bed and they spend a comfy night cuddling in each other’s arms and they’re a happy couple in the rest of the episodes.
I’m scared that the bed scene is just about Scully telling Mulder “I don’t want to be alone tonight” (assuming the William stuff is making her emotional and stressed) and that we will see nothing else but them lying in bed for 2 seconds. So I don’t want to get my hopes up.
