Looking at the situation, I’m like waiting for the other shoe to drop on the floor. He is never pictured lovely or smitten with MP. The other proverbial shoe is a picture or kinda of declaration that he is indeed admitted “dating” her. What a f:$;&( brilliant plot. Or maybe you heard stories of that sort to let the other shoe drop for me so I can close this little hopefulness for his dignity. Pretty please answer my ask. Thanks

I’ve heard stories, indeed. I posted something around The Australian tour when some people I know and trust reported to me that he was seen with her acting like a couple and that she introduces herself as his girlfriend to the fans. after that, they were spotted being on vacation together. So, the other shoe dropped a few months ago for me. Sorry, anon…

I have seen strictly positive comments about David from the people he met today! It’s really nice to hear and we should acknowledge it!

Oh yes, I’m sure David is still his delightful self in one to one meetings at comic cons and I’m sure he makes the fans happy and everything. So if you’re a fan and you can get over the fact that he’s dating a girl who just turned 25 and who he knows at least since she was 20, good for you!! I just can’t! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Maybe it’s too much to ask you thoughts, since those are private but I agree with so much of your posts and I love your tags so i’m interested in what you’d think…. i’m not a defender of either d or g recent choices (imo this is the worst case of rebound ever! speaks volumes about their losses), but i’m having trouble seeing them being together again, because i’m not sure they d would be good for her now. I wonder would you support them being together? is that why you ask for a 2016 try again?

edierone:

Yeah, basically. I want 2012-2016 dd back (and all that came with it). The guy I see now is late-90s dd (but worse, because he’s clearly learned nothing, which is as pathetic as it is tragic), and I fuckin HATED that guy back in the day. Gillovny was Not A Thing (for me) till the pre-revival era, when it seemed that he’d finally grown up, matured, gotten over himself. Turns out, a leopard may not really be able to change his spots after all. I can’t help being Gillovny – but I’d have to witness some fairly dramatic changes before I’d feel good about it.
