Gillian picking David’s episode The Unnatural for one of her episodes to showcase because David directed it and because it was “very romantic”. (And his very sweet, very heartfelt declaration about her performance afterwards, and how off guard she was taken.)

David admitting to missing the show after S9 had wrapped and before they started filming IWTB. Gillian admitting that trying to get pregnant was her focus while filming.
David saying Mulder and Scully’s relationship doesn’t end. It doesn’t die. He’s such a romantic.
How was William conceived? “That was no miracle.”
“Yeah, well I know what I needed.”
Glen Morgan came up with the whole Mulder porn thing, and it is somehow not shocking that Glen Morgan was the one who gave us the S11 line about handcuffs.
David admitting that touching and gazing was pretty much all them just…being them.
David and Gillian admitting the US Weekly and Rolling Stone covers were some of their favorites.
Gillian thinking it would be just HILARIOUS to be a Scully-impersonating stripper Hank has sex with on Californication.
The PMP dance sequence and how David thinks Mulder taking Scully’s hand and asking her to dance is a good final image for Mulder and Scully.
The look Gillian gives David after that scene is finished. And the look he gives her in return.

You know what the saddest part about all this GA rebuilding her image probably for better roles is that she didn’t have to be doing what she is doing now because she is truly a talented actress. I wish she would have stayed true to herself before all this mess happened (which seem to be when she started to be around the turtle).
I really don’t understand what her BIG PLANS are. In the last two years, she only had supporting roles, brief appearances. TXF has been the only big role for her since The Fall. Starting a new career at 50? It’s not impossible, of course. What I don’t like about all this, is that she wants the public to believe that she didn’t have a chance to build a big career because she was tied up to txf and the role of Scully, and now that she announced that she is leaving txf, she is finally free to play the biggest roles of her career which will bring her all the awards and recognition.
The saddest part for me is that the fandom did a really great job to build up excitement by itself (except some rare but great promo Videos made by a shipper working for fox)because no one seemed to care about promoting the show. And really,all the press she is getting rn is bc of the x files and tbh,i, as a long term fan get really dragged down by anything she is saying/doing lately. She didn’t like being tied up to txf ok…but just shut up about it!she earns a lot of money bc of it and I think we as fans deserve the decency that if she doesn’t have anything good to say,then just let it be…how hard is it to tell a few anecdotes about the show that made you famous or even about plans to move on in a respectful manner???

All this Scully death and Gillian deserves better than The X-Files talk makes me sad. Yeah… I just felt like saying that.
Hard same to this. I’m selfish. I was XF to carry on with both of them because I am an XF fan first and a Gillian/David fan second. I doubt very much I would follow either of them if they hadn’t exploded into my screens as Mulder and Scully. As for needing to be ‘saved ’ from XF? Oh please. They are grown adults who are more than capable of saying no to any project they don’t want to do. Yeah, Gillian is a great actress who knows her craft well but she also needs to maintain her lifestyle – a lifestyle funded by the big bucks that have come her way from returning to TXF and by amassing a nice bundle of cash, she can now pick and choose a bit as to her next project and good for her. I’m sure that was very much a consideration when she signed back up and anyone who believes she did it for the fans, or to gain closure is barking mad! Gillian is a very smart woman who understands cause and effect I’m sure. She’s not some delicate little flower who needs ‘saving ’ from evil tv roles and frankly, I find it quite disrespectful to assume she is.
None of this makes sense and I’m confused and sad. Like if this is since October then it isn’t healthy to jump from one relationship to another. And doesn’t she care about her children and how confused they must be? I’m confused and sad.
Nothing makes any sense, and I’m sad too, but it was inevitable, I guess. Nothing will ever be the same in this fandom, but I’m glad we had what we have had. I joined tumblr 2 years ago, and it’s been a blast since then, until this ugly brit fuck came into the picture, but we’re in this together, and I can only thank for my wonderful mutuals and followers, and all those amazing blogs I’m following, because they’ve made my experience here unforgettable.
And I won’t lie but I’m not that excited for August, because every cute Gillovny moment will be shadowed by PM. I can’t understand what Gillian sees in him. He is everything a feminist would despise in a man. He is misogynist, he is a whining manchild, who hates children yet makes five of them, and then complains about his noisy house. And that’s just a few things why he is the worst. And I believe that it defines us who we chose to be with as a partner. And Gillian is not even herself when she is with him. She doesn’t even dare to smile. Maybe laughing doesn’t fit into his aristocratic worldview, and Gillian is trying so hard to fit this Brit upper-class image, that it hurts. I’m sorry but that’s my opinion. She goes against everything she says in her book. I don’t know what to think about that either.
And as for jumping from one relationship to another… I was convinced that if they were together at some point then they still are. But that’s obviously not true. Then when and why would they break up? It just doesn’t fit anywhere in the Gillovny timeline? And then we have 2013-2016, where everything pointed toward that Gillovny is real. And there is that bracelet, which is obviously an expensive birthday gift, and she wears it every time except when she is with PM. That’s interesting too. And there is the Webbys, if they broke up, there is no way they would be like that around each other. And yet it happened, and I just can’t wrap my brain around it.
