Hi, what do you think about 2 female directors joining the Xfiles crew? It really is coincidence, no?:) I think AG knew from the start that they will join the crew but FOX and CC let her introduce it through her feminist agenda. It kinda backfired because to people it felt from her like slamming the show they love and lets say Portofino played a role:) Another example that things are not always as they seem.

I think those female directors were already planned for season 11 because you don’t cast directors last minute. I think Gillian didn’t know but it doesn’t matter because it’s still only 4 female directors all together, so nothing to be proud of. I think it has nothing do to with Gillian’s smokescreen-fight for gender equality in txf.

I just hope they didn’t hire them because they’re women but because they’re talented, understand and love the show and its characters.
