Help please! I’m here with crappyinternet connection, I can’t watch video, pictures take ages to download. What happened last night??? I see ppl saying all kinds of things, that they arrived together, sat together, that the host said somethinh about their relationship??? Did they walk RC together? Did they hold hands? Dud PM win? And if yes, did he thank G in his speech??? And there was something about the car, what did he do again???

Lol! Seems like you’ve been mislead, so here’s what happened for real :

– It seems like they arrived together. There’s a video of them in the cars area. He wasn’t very helpful with her even if she was on crutches under the rain. 

– They walked the red carpet separately, just like they did at the Globes

– Gillian posed for the photographers alone and she looked flawless even with her crutches

– they sat next to each other

– The host made a joke about Gillian. She said she wanted her relationships to be intense and with Gillian Anderson in them (I’m paraphrasing, but that’s about it)

– They did not hold hands.

– The Crown lost

I’m confused so I need to ask what the truth is. I thought Gillian was actually nominated for something yesterday at the BAFTAs. I’ve seen plenty of people ignore that or say it’s not true and that she was there because it was for PM and she was supporting him and proud of him. That is NOT how I see it. She wasn’t there for him because if that were the case she would have stood on the red carpet with him and had photos with him through the night. That didn’t happen. But she WAS nominated, yes?

No, she wasn’t nominated. She did arrive at the same time of the cast and crew of The Crown, and sat nearby them. Truth is, she doesn’t need to have a reason the attend the Baftas. It’s not the first time she does, she’s a successful actress, and not everyone in the room was nominated. I think she was here for herself, first of all, and probably to support the team of The Crown if they’d win. They didn’t, so we’ll never what would have happened in this case. But I agree with you, if her first goal was to support Peter Morgan, she would have, at least, posed on one picture with him. 

I am gillovny af so don’t want you to think I’m being shady. I am just curious for your opinion. If (huge if) ga and pm are together as a couple – do you think they didn’t walk the carpet together because of the backlash last time? I know ga doesn’t bother with social media but her team obviously knew the score. She may not be massively famous but bad press is bad press. Maybe this explains pm hanging back and trying to block the cameras filming candid stuff?

That doesn’t make any sense to me, actually. If they don’t want to be seen because of the backlash, which I don’t believe, then they wouldn’t show up together and sit together at all. At this point, if they’re together, they’re supposed to be out already. So there’s no need to hide and act like a non-couple. There’s so many things that don’t make sense and don’t add up that I’ve basically decided to chill and see what comes next. Things are rarely as simple as they look.
