I really hope that DD and GA tweet something so sweet and maybe a picture about the 24th anniversary of the XF today.

I was answering this ask when Brick tweeted. I was saying that I too was hoping they would tweet something sweet and now Brick tweeted and I’m pissed. Brick’s first tweet was cute but I can’t believe this account still exist.
It’s the 24th anniversary of my favorite show and I don’t want a dog to be the first and the only one to celebrate it. I don’t think it’s cute or sweet I just find it annoying and I keep thinking about Brad enjoying himself with these tweets.
I hope David doesn’t just retweet his dog now. The day is still long and there’s still a possibility David and Gillian will say something, maybe give us a new picture, but I wish David would realize that Brad or whoever is running this Brick account needs to stop!

This may of may not be an unpopular opinion, but I’m gonna express it and see what you all think. I’m kind of annoyed by bricks account. The Gillian pic was cute, & I thought their interactions were fun. But in general the account is really excessive. & kind of pointless. At least for me it has certainly lost whatever point it tried to have. I think also that it is so not David. He would never post so much, every day, all day long. It feels disconnected from him. I don’t hear his voice.

I don’t think this is unpopular at all. I agree with you, a very few tweets are really interesting and entertaining, mostly the ones with Gillian actually, but the rest of it is totally pointless. I’m not interested in reading a dog answering to other dogs, and I think Brad is entertaining himself more than he entertains the fans. Just watch the number or likes and retweets…
Since the beginning, I’ve said I wished it has been handled with rare but entertaining and targeted tweets instead of flooding our feeds with dog nonsense. But David trusts Brad, he’s his manager and he isn’t interested in social media strategy anyway, so in sense, I think if Brad tells him it’s good, David won’t say a word.

Look, you guys, I hate to be the voice of sanity here-but that isn’t David tweeting. It is Brad. Even Brad is finally acknowledging that it is Brad. That’s why he tagged himself in his reply to Evan when Evan was questioning wtf David was doing. Look, I totally agree the Nelson & Brick tweets are adorable. & I would LOVE it to be Gillian & David tweeting at each other more than anybody. I would legit lose my shit. But it isn’t Gillian & David tweeting at each other. It’s Gillian & Brad.

You know, I think we’re all pretty sane here, and no one really believes it’s David and Gillian tweeting each other. We’re just having fun and enjoying the ride.

I think Brad is tweeting all the replies to people engaging with Brick. He’s not in Vancouver, so that explains why all the pictures posted as replies are old pictures that either David tweeted himself or Nancy Collini. He doesn’t have access to new footage. Which means the picture of Gillian and the little video of Brick “packing” were tweeted by someone else, who is in Vancouver. I doubt it is David himself, even if he surely has taken the picture of Brick and Gillian, but I think he at least gets to approve those tweets. 

I’m not really invested in Brad’s part of this Twitter handling, but the other part is giving me life, either it’s David’s own thumbs tweeting or someone else’s!

The handler for Bricks twitter account sounds like a woman. If you listen to that video of Brick « packing », you can hear a female chuckle.

I don’t hear a female chuckle, just Brick’s barkings, but I think David’s PA could be taking care of Brick sometimes for him, and I think it’s Bailee. She’s working for Ghost War and also for David and she’s staying in the same hotel / building, so that could be her. But I still only hear Brick on this video, though.
