Why did David name his dog Brick? Has he ever explained where the name came from? I know he’s explained why he called his dog Blue but Brick seems really unusual!

Yeah, he did. Brick is actually a nickname, I think he’s full name is Brickashaw named after D’Brickashaw Ferguson a football player. David even made a little video about that. I’ve been searching for it on his twitter but I can’t find it, so I’ll just re-post it right after that, because apparently, I’ve saved it on my laptop… 😀 

I’m telling you Brick’s twitter is going to be the best source of fuckery we have ever seen. I cannot believe I lost my shit over a dog’s make believe Twitter account. I know David is quirky and adorable and all that but part of me wonders if he was high when fucking around on Twitter. I don’t care what he does but Brick better tweet more than his BFF. 32 years old. I’m pathetic.

If I had been told I would follow a dog account once and be that excited to receive its notifications, I wouldn’t have believed it. We’re doomed! 😀

Do you think you could share ur honest opinion with us when you’re ready? I would really like to know what your thoughts are about Bricks account. Please.

I’m not sure if there’s anything to think about except that it’s the cutest thing David ever did!
The sad part is that I think it’ll mostly be handled by Brad to promote David’s new album and I wished it could have stayed as pure as Brick’s first tweet, because in Brad’s hands it’ll become a communication / commercial tool just like everything else he touches.

The bright part is that Brad isn’t in Vancouver, David really took this picture, and I think he still has a hand on the account and I believe he’ll use it for the good too. So hopefully, we’ll get more cute pics from the set with Brick’s mom and dad and sweet and funny captions. 

In term of Gillovny, it means they’re definitely good with each other and the concerns some people had that things would be estrange between them can stop right now. They’re fine, they’ve comfortable with each other, and Gillian is getting love and care from one Duchovny at the very least 😀

You know, the tweets that we got last night, I feel like that’s when they really are themselves. I feel like we would get many more fun tweets like these if social media was a « safer » place and if David and Gillian were less careful about what they posted. I get them: whatever you tweet or do as a celeb can be turned into such a big deal. So it makes it extra special when they decide to just let their guard down and go with it. They must have been really chilling & having a good time yesterday.

I totally agree, anon. I wish they could be more themselves on social media, but it’s always a dangerous game. That tweet yesterday was innocent and cute and yet we all went crazy and still are melting about it. How I wish I’d been a fly on the wall and saw how this idea came up to their mind and what they were doing and what they were talking about beforehand and after. Whatever it was, it looks like they were comfy and happy to be together and enjoying their life so that makes me beyond happy!

I can’t with this latest twitter fuckery. I can’t. Gillian looks so beautiful! She’s so gorgeous. & there’s such a domestic, loving, maternal, easy breezy vibe with her & brick- it makes me melt. The thought that David created a twitter account for his dog & then posted this pic tells me it made him melt too. Which in turn makes me melt more- at his potential melting. I am a huge puddle right now! In all seriousness though I am mainly just happy to see them having fun, together again.

Going through my inbox is such a delight right now. We’re all big sappy puddles right now and I wanna hug you all! What that dog reduced us to?
