I think there are many different ways to see and interpret Gillovny, but in my case, it has nothing to do with msr. Those are completely separated in my head, maybe except for the few confusing bts such as the hallway scene where we’ll never know where msr stopped and where Gillovny began.
Besides that, in my mind, they have nothing to do with one another. When I see Gillian, I don’t see Scully, and same for David and Mulder. Resolving the sexual tension between two fictional characters will not have an impact on real persons, and as they great actors they are, Gillovny being real and out won’t impact their character.
I don’t do a transfer either. If msr was happening and they were a real couple and all, I’d still ship Gillovny this hard. I wouldn’t see Gillian and David kissing, but Mulder and Scully, so it wouldn’t change anything, except that we would have more bts and hot bloopers.
So when David, denying his relationship with Gillian, says “they can have Mulder and Scully, it should be enough”, I say it’s not the same and it depends who you ship harder. And we don’t have Mulder and Scully anyway, so this is not even a question for now.

Yes, that’s exactly what they did. They took a picture on one of their iphones for themselves, to keep it. I just pointed out that no one on Earth does that during a photoshoot, when you have a professional photographer, good lights and decor. But they felt the need to take a picture of them just for themselves that no one else will never see. WHY?

Their tight schedule didn’t allow them the necessary time of together-loneliness they were used to have after a long period without seeing each-other. The first time he saw her after those long three weeks of deprivation was in the middle of a crowd, on a red carpet, flashes dazzling his eyes and preventing him from seeing her whole.
He knew about her crutches, but seeing her like that melted his heart. She looked like a fragile little nestling who had just fallen from its nest. It was only a few minutes after midnight that she rang at his door and they finally found their way to the bedroom. With his arm and her foot, it was slower than it usual. He used to joke about their relationship being based on logistics; well, it seemed like it had extended even to their lovemaking.

Yes, he’s David’s friends. I saw him for the first time during his European tour. He was helping with the logistics, holding fan’s coats and purses during the meet and greets. Very nice guy. I think he follows him on tour a lot and it seems like they hang out a lot together lately.

It’s as if I was weld to Gillian and Chris again. Mulder never really left me. Even if at some point, in my life, in my career, I really wanted to go away from him.
Why ?
I was scared this role would never allow me to play something else, that everyone would see me as that guy who played that role! Now, in hindsight, I can only be grateful for Fox Mulder. Let me add that I’ve never feel like I was far away from him because people kept talking to me about this show! You know, there’s never been a period when people didn’t stop me in the street to tell me how much X-Files had a strong impact in their lives.
What did you feel the first day of filming?
We were a little bit rusty, to be honest. I hate those sensations. And Chris asked me to learn one of the monologue he loves to write! Like about gravitation electro-gravitational, for example. It wasn’t easy to plug my brain on those kind of things again, but I’ve found out a long time ago that I could say a bunch of nonsenses. That all of those scentific-ish dialogues didn’t really mean anything. As long as you use complicated words, that you tell them fast and you look serious, people will buy anything! (laugh)
How has your relationship with Gillian Anderson changed?
It is deeper because of all those years that have passed. The respect and trust we feel towards each other are obvious! I think we are also both better actors today!
Did you think X-Files would come back ?
With Gillian and Chris, we’ve never lost either contact, nor hopes. We used to have millions of idea when we were shooting back then. We hoped we could film a movie every four or five years! Just like James Bond or Star Trek.
