This might have been the best week we had since filming started! We got a NEW PROMO WHERE DAVID AND GILLIAN ARE DISCUSSING SCULLY & MULDER’S RELATIONSHIP.

❤️️WE GOT A SEASON 11 MSR & A CHEMISTRY PROMO❤️️

But let’s start at the beginning. 

Gillian Anderson is nominated for Critic’s Choice Award for her role as Media, in American Gods.(X)  No one was more excited about this than forever fangirl, Bryan Fuller!

David tweeted from the set. It’s a really cool, X-files aesthetics picture and it’s sooo David’s style 😂😂 The tweet said: “Hmmm, looks like X-files to me.“ (X) Brick answered: This is how I like my X-files and let’s just be honest…that is totally a Gillian response, right @alienbaby-babymama ? That is all, now we can get back to one of the best things that’s ever happened to this fandom, the MSR Promo!! 

Okay, so on Thursday evening we’ve been surprised with some new footage from Season 11, concentrating on the Mulder and Scully dynamic. Are they only friendly co-workers? Are they only partners? Are they married? We don’t know, but we do know that they are certainly not estranged! That is if believe David and Gillian. And why wouldn’t we?! 😍😍 So, yes. Here we are, looking at a new season of our favourite show, expecting some proper MSR scenes. 

Like, do you remember how many kisses we got in 25 years? I mean, some are too dark to even see anything, or it happened back in the past, or it was just a nearly kiss…#damnthatbee Do you also remember all the happy/domestic scenes that we’ve ever got to see? Yeah, I’m sure we all do, cause it’s not that much to remember, right? But now! NOW we got a whole 1:30 minutes trailer full of MSR innuendos!!!! So, yeah, Tumblr exploded, the gifs, the screaming, the fanfics, the analysis, the joy that followed this trailer was one really good ride! And, honestly, we needed it, we deserved it and we couldn’t have been any happier when we got it. And we even worried a bit about Chris Carter’s well-being…is Chris Carter ok? did someone do something to Chris Carter? @wtfmulder

And like this has not yet been enough, we also got a 3 minutes video with Gillian & David discussing their famous chemistry! There is footage from Season 1 – Season 11 with many BTS parts we’ve never got to see! These videos are a blessing, just like Mulder&Scully/Gillian&David. So thank you very much to anyone who has been a part of these awesome promo ideas and preparation!❤️️

  2. David is still very sweetly talks about Mulder & Scully being married, while Gillian focuses on the lost sexual tension, as now they had sex…

The X-files account tweeted;”They’re closer than they’ve ever been to the truth… and each other.  #TheXFiles” (X) and @gillianaofficial was right there to tease us a bit more; “As if she didn’t already know.  #TheXFiles“ She also changed her avatar picture on Tumblr. The new one is a cute, picture of Dana Scully, wearing a Santa hat;“Naughty or nice?” 

Zelda William shared a very sweet and heartwarming story about the beginning of her career and David Duchovny. David replied. (X)

What are your predictions? Will he address this shit publicly? Imo if he doesn’t deny it,I think he is with her. It never happened with him before- paps pics with someone who he wasn’t officially with.So he is everywhere with this M thing even in major us tabloids. At this point it’s not the matter of giving it more attention by addressing it( because they already have one) it’s the matter of decency on his part.

I disagree. It’s the same with Gillian, I wished she had addressed either to confirm or deny, but the truth is it’s never a good idea to do so. It sheds more light on it and in David’s position, confirming a relationship with a 24 years old girl would be a disaster but deny it would be too. When you deny something publicly, no one believes you anyway and you’re guilty no matter what. Remember uncle Dirk? “They’re not dating, they’re just friends,” He said. Yet, the Daily Mail called Monique David’s new girlfriend in this same article, and again this week even if they are the ones with the source saying they’re not.
What I don’t get is that David is well known to have a bunch of great lawyers around him, and a few years ago, this kind of thing would have been taken down before it blows out. He had sued paps and press agency for less than that. He has managed to sweep some issues under the rug more than once, and some of them were legit. So why does he let this one out without damage control even though it’s hurting his image and by extant could be hurting his family, that I don’t know.
Just like Gillian, it feels stage and uncharacteristic for David. So I still hold the hope that there’s a bigger plan behind all this.
