I have seen strictly positive comments about David from the people he met today! It’s really nice to hear and we should acknowledge it!

Oh yes, I’m sure David is still his delightful self in one to one meetings at comic cons and I’m sure he makes the fans happy and everything. So if you’re a fan and you can get over the fact that he’s dating a girl who just turned 25 and who he knows at least since she was 20, good for you!! I just can’t! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Montreal Comiccon adds X-Files panel discussion with David Duchovny

The show also announced the addition of The Truth is Here, a 60-minute special event featuring David Duchovny (Fox Mulder), William B. Davis (Cigarette Smoking Man) and Mitch Pileggi (Walter Skinner). Gillian Anderson had been booked to appear, but cancelled because of a scheduling conflict.

The Truth is Here will be presented at Palais des congrès on July 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale May 30.

What I find hard to believe is how Gillian could not schedule just a weekend to go to Montreal, I mean there are still months to go… is having a fight with David a theory, why she’s not going?

Nah, I don’t think it’s a theory, or at least, it’s not my theory. If there was a fight, it happened months ago, so if it was an issue for this con, it would have never happened in the first place. It’s possible that she’s filming something in Europe so she can’t be in Montreal on the week-end. We’ll only find out in July, I guess, but I hope we know why she canceled and for what!
