Do you think Gillian will make her social media spy down her to spy on our reactions to the wig or FOX is here too? When everyone complained when they did the revival they actually changed it just the way we wanted it for the color and made a side part. They know of Daily Fail paparazzi photographs do you just like I think they check in on us to see the buzz? Gillian is you here too lurking on the fangirls?

I have no doubt Gillian’s people spy on us to get our reactions on things, not only about the wig but in general. There are people who it’s their jobs. But the opinions about the wig are mostly positive this time, so I guess they’re happy with it as much as we are. I don’t think Gillian tweeted a selfie in her wig for nothing, that was probably also meant to test the fans’ reactions.

Everyone is spiraling already…but I’m totally lost! I don’t see the romantic gillovny – just coworkers/friends reunited after a while. And I don’t mean to be a killjoy (truly, I don’t) but portofino still happened. What am I missing here?!

You’re not missing anything. But since last October, we didn’t have much things. We basically had nothing. We’ve been hurt, we had to cope with you know who, bare with 450 pictures we all wish we could unsee especially one or two, and we had to deal with a division in the fandom and constantly fighting and being pissed off and sad. To say the least, the last few months weren’t a piece of cake for Gillovny fans.

In a few days, we had hints of them spending their birthday together, we had a podcast telling something happened at The Webbies to make people think they’re together, we had a new picture from Mark Mann, a tweet with the two of them from Gillian, and now a bartender who served them both twice. It’s not much and yet it means the world!
Let us spiral and be emotional and scream of joy if we want to. We deserve it.

The only time gillian appears to be nice with fans is if it’s when she’s at comic con, and there’s going to be an auction and she needs your money. I remember last time they were shooting in Vancouver, those two girls were walking there dogs and bumped into G and D together. The girls asked for a pic with them, David stayed, and Gillian said No and walked off. She’s always been the same.

I remember this story too, but to be fair I also remember her spending hours signing almost every night after Streetcar last year, and I remember very very cute and sweet stories from fans who were genuinely moved by their meeting with her.

I think it’s a matter of moment. Trying to catch her while she’s working might not be the best moment. And again, her walking under umbrellas to hide from 5 people seem a little bit extreme to be her own choice. I think Fox is trying to maintain the secrecy around this season as long as possible, which is also why she didn’t interact last night. 

Someone said she didn’t even waive or say hi to the 5 people waiting for her. Whereas David posed in his car with a fan and Brick. Two very different mentality…

Yeah, I saw the tweet… Well, David has always been warmer with fans, he puts his hands everywhere (not everywhere everywhere), he asks genuine questions about you even if he forgets the answer in a heartbeat it makes you feel comfortable and he signs everything you have in your hands no matter what it is. Gillian is different, but she has proved more than once that she too can be warm and welcoming with fans. Let’s give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she was trying to concentrate, or it was cold, or she just wasn’t in the mood. 

 I think she’s also different when she’s around David, so hopefully, the experience of meeting her on set with him nearby will be more satisfying for people there. 

Also, with the secrecy around season 11, and she not leaving her tent without umbrellas, I think Fox might have asked her not to show herself or interact as long as possible.
