While that was a funny « playlist » that GA reblogged, I don’t understand why the maker felt the need to put down DD. As if he was unworthy of his own wages, or was responsible for her getting paid less. #duchovnydefenseleague

I want to believe it wasn’t meant to be this way, that the songs title just fit this way and it was supposed to be funny. Gillian’s fight is for equal pay, not for her to make more than him, she isn’t worth more than him and vice versa. They’re costars and equals and I’m sure Gillian didn’t think it would raise some anger in the fandom when she chose to tweet it. I can see her finding it funny, and that’s all.

But if they want to give her back all the money they owe her for not paying her as much as him back then, I think it would be just fair, and I think David would think it’s fair too.

With the lack of any real evidence to back up the rumors, I have to ask. What do you think was the whole deal with GA’s over enthusiastic support of the crown? Showing up at the premieres, the awards, PM’s dinner. It makes no sense other than being there for him in a personal way, but everything, especially the fact that you said the partner and not single comments point to DD, points to there being nothing between her and PM. I’ll never understand Nov 2016 to March 2017.

I think we will understand later. It makes no sense to me that it all happened for personal reasons, I think it was all professional, and I’m just really happy and grateful we can start talking about it with the past tense.

The subject of the pay again. She makes it sound like it’s David’s fault.

That’s your interpretation, but not mine, and not the majority’s, and certainly not Gillian’s.
During her press tour for We she clearly tried not to mention his name when she talked about equal pay, and I think it was not to drag him personally on this subject.
When she talked about negotiations, she clearly stated that David and his team do all the hard work and she comes after and ask for the same.
David’s birthday tweet last year was him acknowledging her negotiations issues and giving her a little public push.
She wouldn’t dig him, she has no reason to, and David isn’t responsible for that. Fox and society in general is.
David and Gillian’s relationship is sane and free from all jealousy and anger due to money. They’ve both acknowledged that many times.

I’m exited and also nervous for a potentially red-headed Gillian! I remember not following her for a few years after TXF and how shocked I was to see her blonde but now I can’t imagine her as anything else!

I honestly have no idea how I might react to a redhead Gillian. It will probably be quite a shock. I’m expecting to see her red, but still, I’m not prepared at all. I keep wondering what shade of red it’ll be, if she changed her haircut too and what haircut Scully will have.

Actually, I keep imagining a hot red Stella as Scully…

That For Your Consideration Emmy thing is for American Gods, not Gillian. I know everyone got excited but it’s not for her unless there was a separate one with her name under her pic that we don’t have. Shows can use any picthey want for their repping and Fuller probably picked Gillian. I’m not trying to be a downer but realistic. The pic isn’t for Emmy considerations of Gillian. It’s for AG.

Yeah, Sadly, I think you’re right. It would be awesome if she get a nomination for American Gods, but her role seem too limited for that. It’s nice they chose that pic, though.

About Gillian Anderson: “An astonishing actor. We forget how good she is because she plays characters who are a bit like her. And somebody that good — somebody that brilliant — it’s so amazing. Watching her channel Lucile Ball, David Bowie, Marilyn Monroe, or Judy Garland is just astounding. I think people will see sides to Gillian that they had never imagined.” Neil Gaiman (X)
