I’m not convinced about this OBE award. I can’t find anywhere, and I mean anywhere, actual proof that this award was given to G. There’s been no listings (that I can find). The link to the UK gov site is the only link. It was released to a Tumblr blog. Really? People actually believe this? The real UK gov website doesn’t even list this award being received by G. At events like today’s she would have been addressed with the OBE after her name. Show me actual, legit proof, and then I’ll believe.

I don’t know, anon. The link seems legit, she’s apparently OBE since last August, though. I’m not British, so I’m not sure, but is there necessarily a ceremony for that? I guess we’ll see if Gillian does some press in the U.K. They’ll probably mention it.

I still think it’s really odd that the press aren’t all over this, whether it’s true or not. Why do you think they still haven’t picked up on it?

Gillian being very well known and very popular in the U.K., and PM being all over the press during the last year for The Crown, yes, I think it’s odd. I guess the serious press had to ask their reps and either they didn’t want to comment or they denied. But the tabloids and the gossip sites should have picked up the story if there was actually a story to tell.

I’m a sucker for a close up and in addition to my love for this beauty editor’s appreciation of G’s embracing her skin etc. this is the pic that from now on I’m gonna shove in people’s faces that imply G‘s face is all plastic.

Laugh lines, freckles and her beauty mark are some of my favourite things about her appearance wise. She wears the skin she’s lived in and comfortably.
