I didn’t see the new interview but when did she say after s10 that she will never come back? I remember saying she’s not sure and there are talks but never a straight no.

She said it multiple times, especially during the NYCC at all the interview tables she did, basically. I think she even mentioned it during the panel. There’s also quite a few articles out there saying how it’s the last time for her.
I just don’t take that too seriously for now. I think it’ll depends on the rating of this season, and if they’re as good as season 10’s, I’m sure Fox will find a way to convince her (💰) if she hasn’t already signed for season 12. We’ll see…

I know it’s a heavy subject what she’s talking about but why does Gillian look so sad in those vids? Is she acting or what?

I don’t know if acting is the right word, one’s always acting in front of a camera. I think the concept of these videos – white background, no makeup, no jewelry, nothing fancy – is supposed to help giving a serious and heavy atmosphere to what is said. Though, I have no idea why she seems on verge of crying. Maybe there were more questions before those ones that explain why she’s moved like that. I felt a bit queasy watching them, to be honest.

About TXF… I feel like we’re going to get a really nice season but very little promo interviews. 😐 Or nothing really fun or satisfying. Maybe I’m just being a pessimist.

Yes, you’re being pessimistic. This Extra TV video is the first one, but it means they probably did a press day on set because I don’t think Fox gave them the exclusivity and that Gillian and David stopped filming only to give this little interview. So that means more to come from that day. Then, I guess there won’t be no premiere and no tv shows before January 3rd, but it doesn’t mean they can’t start promoting in January. XF is a big show, Fox look really happy about it, I’m sure they want to capitalize on Gillian and David’s chemistry like they always did. Hopefully, we’ll get a press week in January just like we did for season 10.
