I agree, Twitter will block her account if she posts too much blood there, but here, she can post whatever she wants! I suggest Gillian just empties her phone on Tumblr. It’ll be just fine.

Gillian’s photos on her Instagram Story leave me confuse and they don’t look super interesting but… who cares! Every time she’s posting things from the set of TXF it means she’s having a good day and having fun so that makes me feel good inside, always. Still waiting for more David-related material, though. 😜

Everything you said, anon! I like that she’s enjoying herself! I wish she would post more pictures with / of David and I wish David would share more bts too! The secrecy around this season means that they’re basically the only ones who can share stuff with the fans, so I wish David would dare to participate! 

I agree with your thoughts about Gillian. I think she’s under contract to publish those tweets on TC. From the first to the last one, they’re all related to a TV product (trailers, awards, events, cast…). She is advertising TC. However, I understand people’s annoyance. If this is publicity (as I believe), it should be clarified. On the other hand, when you claim feminism, tweets like « I’m sorry but this is going to be the best thing to happen to your lives this year! » are extremely 1/2

dangerous territory. Those who don’t think it’s publicity will start asking themselves questions. Doesn’t she believe in her own shows? Why is she promoting her boyfriend’s series as “the best thing to happen”? In my case, I’d like to know if she was officially hired to promote this series (ie. if she’s doing publicity or truly believes “TC is the best thing to happen”). Because if that were the case, where would that leave her own projects? These are legitimate questions, still w/o answer. 2/2

Yes, those questions are totally legit and there’s nothing wrong in asking them. I don’t think it would even be wrong to ask her in real life what’s her involvement with The Crown. I honestly wish a journalist would go there because there’s nothing normal in what she’s doing with this show. Promoting your boyfriend that much to your own fandom who have mixed feelings, to say the least, about him, isn’t a normal thing to do. Promoting a show you’re not part of that much isn’t a normal thing to do either. So what is it? I’d really love to know. 

It’s a weird time here on tumblr with all this dramas everybody talks about, so I decided to distract myself with something nice and turned vids from Paley. Do you happen to have a vid from carpet where DD rubs GA’s back during interviews? I remember watching it but I now can’t find it ;/

Do we know if G attended the Harper’s Bazzar event?

There is no official picture of her being there, but there’s this weird thing on many photo agency. They referenced another woman as Gillian Anderson on the red carpet of this event.

That makes me think that she attended, but just wasn’t photographed and we know from experience that there’s no official photographers inside the venue, so she could have easily sneaked in if she wanted to.

Can I ask what you mean by its not coincidence that Gillian was back in London on the weekend of WoTY Award? Gillian showing with PM at work events just shows whatever she does is professional. We know Portofino was staged but not as coming out because no one fucks up like that when they pay people to think for them. So you mean coincidence because this is the end of Gillian showing with PM? Or you mean this coincidence because she was celebrating with HB? What you said confuse me, that’s all.

I mean that she was awarded as the woman of last year by Harper Bazaar and since then, she has had a weird connection to them. This year, the ceremony happened the exact weekend she comes back to London, so I just assumed she had to attend at the ceremony or at some private party with HB. 

I still have hope. Because whenever GA promotes other people’s or her own show (whether by contract or not) she did get to pick what and how she wants to promote it. For AG, Hannible, we can see she greatly phrases Bryan Fuller. For the Fall, she likes Jaime Dornan and herself (Stella). For X-files, she mostly promote by make fun of David. She promotes David’s Holy Cow to the point to say her « very own » David but never heard she mentions Bucky F Dent. But for the Crown? All I’ve seen is (1/2)

(2/2) she likes the actresses. Never seen her mentions she likes Peter’s writing like she mentions Bryan Fuller’s writing or David’s Holy Cow. So, that tells me she is not that impressed of his writing at all. Some people may say she does that because she just doesn’t want people to say she promotes boyfriend, but I think she is someone not afraid to show she is proud of him if she truly am, especially now that media is already saying they are together. What do you think?

I agree, she doesn’t promote him but his show, and always in a weird way that doesn’t feel right. It feels shady and like she has to, not that she wants to. But I’m sure she’ll do an amazing job promoting XF, she actually already does by giving us all those BTS pics and videos and she does acknowledge David and how she loves working with him so that’s everything that matters to me now!
