Tomorrow ( 3,5 hours in my time) is10th September 2017 which means;
Our favourite FBI agents have been searching for the truth for 24 years!
It was freezing cold, they didn’t know what they were doing, their lips were frozen, there was rain, mud and Billy Miles in a creepy cemetery somewhere in the Vancouver forest. It was late, it was moist and it was the beginning of The X-files which premiered on Fox 10th September 1993! Our life changed, and we started a journey, never expecting it to last this long! But here we are, 24 years later, still loving, admiring and worrying for Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. What the future holds, how they’ll kick the ass of some new monsters to find their long-awaited spooky happiness!
It’s 2017 and Gillian Anderson & David Duchovny are back at that same forest, still running up and down, filming in the middle of the night, wearing maybe to tight-fitted clothes, enjoying their camaraderie and trying to whistle the theme song while eating pancakes.Or something like that. I don’t know really know what is going on on the set cause we get no information at all…!!!!
But I definitely know that I want to celebrate this iconic day with you all, so…

Hey anon! I have so many! The 1997 Golden Globes will always be special in my Gillovny heart. The “for me” moment during Paley, their gazing in the end, the hand holding at NYCC, their awkward hug during IBG… Kimmel was something too. I watched it live, which means in the middle of the night for me, and it was kind of an experience… I wasn’t expecting THAT, and when it was over, I wasn’t sure what just happened exactly. I must have watched it a hundred times after! But for the last two years, every time someone asks me what’s my favorite Gillovny moment, there’s always this tweet spinning in my head.
To me, it’s the most sincere and heartfelt tweet she ever done to him. I think she meant it, she missed him for real after spending so many months together and she didn’t care about the world the know about it. It makes me melt every time I think about it.
2/2 in the eyes in the mirror; letting him know that this is how they’ll stay forever. Madly in love and addicted to each other. Shit sorry I got carried away there 😂
They’re not on the Guest list yet. I assume it’s because they haven’t said anything about photo ops and signing. But the panel is listed and they’re there as speakers so it’s all good. Check this link.
This week was off to a good start when @gillianaofficial tweeted a ‘not usual but not that weird, really’ #bts tweet of dummies having sex! Yes, our first info of the week was ‘Sex for Dummies’.

Next step was a new filming location! ‘ TheXFiles will be filming at 9998 208th St & area in Langley on Thursday night (August 31). ‘
@5518studios visited The X-files set and posted a video about cars, trucks, and lights! (X)

Some more night filming and lights before a long and quiet weekend, as it’s Labour Day celebration in the US and Canada. Assumptions are that there was a break in filming.

I did find an old article – from 1994 – about The scary sexiness of The X-files by The New Yorker which was an interesting read! I’m not that familiar with the old press of the show, so those articles always fascinate me. 🙈

So yes, not many things happened in this week, BUT
This is such a weird, unique, awesome fandom that we do care about trucks, trailer doors, cars, chairs, lights, director chairs, random streets where might be something happening, random objects from the set, or some trees in a forest…anything. Really. Just give us anything and we happily take it and discuss it and make up some theories about it…!
Yes, this is how damaged we are. Yes, this is how much we suffered. Little, tiny things do make us happy. We are here for 25 years, and we ain’t going anywhere! So bring on the next month, we are ready and we are thankful!
Also, if we could get some more MSR #bts pictures, that would be just lovely! 😂👽👽

Haha! I’m so happy for you that you get to go!! I wish I could! You’ll have to wait a little bit that NYCC releases the schedule, but I have no doubt they will be doing signing and photo op. Usually, they both spend a day or two at cons, so they might even be there on Saturday, who knows! Save some money, though. VIP package can be quite expensive! Good luck, don’t die, and report everything!!
