I’m confused. do you think it’s a manip or not?

I am really confused too but no I don’t think it is. If I was given to see the picture only, I’d have no doubt that it is. But the with the source looking legit like it does, I don’t think it is. Yet, I’ve submitted the picture to one of the graphiste we have at my job. She’s totally neutral and barely knows Gillian that she named Scully.
She laughed at me when I showed it to her, she said it was such a bad manip. Then she looked at it more seriously, zoomed in, did some stuff with the pixelation and other things I don’t know anything about and said she has zero doubt and that it’s a manip.
I asked for more explanations, she said the guy on the front row is trimmed, but too much and poorly. That his head doesn’t belong to his body. The guy sitting on the chair doesn’t belong to the picture because he doesn’t have the same pixelation as the trimmed guy.
She said Gillian is too small, and PM’s head doesn’t belong to his body either. The sunglasses were added, but there’s a missing branch. Of course the arms are missing. And the light isn’t right. She said the two women on the left side belong to the same picture, and could have been there, but everyone else was added and photoshopped. If the four of the background are standing up on something, PM must be standing on something too, but it’s not possible as Gillian seem to be on the floor, such as the guy sitting because the chair and Gillian are on the same level. But the guy standing in the front row, with the perspective, must be smaller than Gillian, and yet, his head is twice bigger.
Then she asked if it was Mulder standing next to Scully and that he aged badly.

So it only got me more confused than I already was. I told her the source is legit, and it couldn’t be a manip. She told me to shut it because I know nothing and to let her do her job!

So yes, I’m confused too. But still, if it’s a manip it doesn’t make any sense.

I agree with your anon that G seems weird. But is it her or is it us making her weird by filling blank spaces with what we think happens. I mean G seems over the moon happy with D yet she choose to show up with P for a lot of public events (though they never look like a couple). The same with greece-she tweets for all charities but not the one that connects her to P though they are suppossed to be together?!has anyone else reported a sighting of G in greece?

There was no other sighting of Gillian in Greece, and yet this picture was taken at least 4 days ago. We’re definitely trying to fill the blanks, because there’s a lot of them, an that’s what we always do. We probably got some things right and others wrong, but that’s always the case, until we get more answers. Or not! There’s nothing else to do!

If you go to the charity’s web page, the woman standing on the far left side of the photo is named as a co-founder of the charity. There’s a picture of her and it’s definitely the same woman. The sister of PM’s ex, Lila Schwarzenberg, is also listed there as a founder, and someone else from the Schwarzenberg family. It’s all legit.

Yes, I know the charity and the involvement of PM’s wife and her family’s is legit. No question about that. It’s also what makes me believe Gillian wasn’t there as PM’s girlfriend. I think he introduced her to this charity to help them, I think she will be publicly involved in it later, but that doesn’t mean anything about them being in a relationship to me.

Echo100Plus invited the awkward ex-partner of someone whose whole family is tied to the charity to an island where a lot of refugees land and live under horrible circumstances. He brings his new gf, because why not (awkward as hell as a couple that hasn’t come out yet); they dine in a fine restaurant and take a look around? Wow, real classy. The possibility of Gillian being with him is really not the biggest problem here anymore. She’s gotten kind of… weird?! What is your opinion?

If it was what happened, I would definitely agree with you. Refugees camp are not for tour sightings. But the one who captioned the picture isn’t from the charity, he’s the guy from the restaurant they had a meal in. He doesn’t necessarily know everything about what they where doing there and why.
Knowing Gillian and her involvement with many charities, she’s not the kind of person who just walks by a refugee camp to see how they’re settled in and approves, then go have a meal in a fancy place. If she’s involved with a charity organization, it means she helps, in a way or another.
So as long as she doesn’t tweet anything, if the charity itself don’t say a word, we can’t judge what she was doing there.

Why do you refuse to believe the pic is manip when obviously it is? What are you, a gorgan?

I don’t refuse to see it’s a manip. If it was the pic only, I’d go with a manip without an hesitation. But the source seem legit to me, even if I find it weird that the charity didn’t post it themselves, and that Gillian didn’t say a word about helping this charity. If it was a manip, wouldn’t all the people tagged on it say something?
But on the other hand, there are people with no arms, they’re all looking in different direction, there’s clearly a problem of proportion, PM’s head looks like it was put on another body and the sunglasses on his head don’t look real.
But again, why has no one tagged on the picture react to say it was fake?

For science, the things wrong with the pic 1/ the dude in the foreground in the pink shirt, even allowing for perspective would be around 8 feet tall if he stood up. 2/ the guy to the right of him – there is a lump on the right shirt arm 3/ some peoples hair is being blown by a breeze, but the breeze seems to be coming from different directions and totally missing some completely. 4/ do I even have to mention the missing arms?? 5/ Gillian appears to have a square right shoulder Continued…

Continued… 6/ there are visible ‘cut lines’ (where an image has been trimmed) especially around pink shirts hat, lumpy shirt arm guy and Gillian’s square shoulder. 7/ the reflection in the table of the legs don’t line up…except one does, which is just…wrong. In conclusion, part or all of the photo is made up of different photos. Possibly submitted by the subjects themselves? And that’s just based on the naked eye. I think if it were properly scrutinised the results would be telling.

Wow… Okay, everything you said is right, but then, the owner of this restaurant will have to explain himself if it’s a manip. 

Looks like Gillian is enjoying a well deserved vacation. .we can all agree she needs one. I’m wondering —if this is only charity work why she doesn’t tweet about it like all her other charity work she does?

She just has spent two weeks in Costa Rica, anon. Not that I think she doesn’t deserve all the vacations she wants, but this time, I don’t think that’s what she does. Besides, you don’t go on vacation, and then take a break from them to see how the poor refugees live and then have a meal on the island before going back to your fancy hotel with your new boyfriend. I don’t know why she didn’t tweet anything, this is very weird, everything about it is very weird, but if this picture is legit, I think they both were there to help this charity, because PM’s wife is involved in it for a very long time, and helps a lot refugees in Greece, and that’s all. They’re not vacationing. 

Dude its a manip no question. I get that you did research and I commend you for that. It may not make sense right now but it is a manip. Either the whole thing is a joke or the charity is doing it for publicity or something. But there is mo way that is a real pic

Okay, I hear that point of view, and it seems to be the consensus, but then, where is the original picture of Gillian? Or of PM? Or of anyone else on that pic. I know there are missing arms, and proportions curiosity, but… I don’t know…

I was silent because I wanted to make some research before I’d post about it, and also because I didn’t want a new storm and breakdown in the fandom. But now that many of you know, and the picture is getting out there, i might as well jump in, hoping to smooth the anxiety of some.

They’re not vacationing in Greece, for what we know. They did some charity thing there. It happens that PM’s wife is in Greece too, and she and her family are deeply involved with this charity. A few people with her name even liked that Facebook post. (That Im not going to post, by the way, first of all because I don’t want that charity organization to be harassed, and also because this is a PM free blog, remember?)
So knowing that, I don’t see how Gillian/girlfriend would fit in.
It’s not like we had a sighting of them at the beach or having a meal or whatever. It’s always the same, they’re doing public things, business things, and she looks like she’d rather be anywhere else, as usual. Also, she’s not wearing her bracelet. It could mean something. Or not.

So now, we all have the same informations, it doesn’t change anything for me, it doesn’t hange my position on what I think about their relationship, and it doesn’t change what i think about Gillovny.

If you’re looking for the picture, I’m sure someone will post it eventually, and if not, it’s a group picture with 6 or 7 people and PM and Gillian not touching each other, and one of the woman on it was in London at her Wow event with PM too.

That’s all I have.
