I knew I loved you then
But you’d never know
‘Cause I played it cool when I was scared of letting go
I know I needed you
But I never showed
But I wanna stay with you until we’re grey and old
Just say you won’t let go
How Gillovny is that?

I didn’t know that at all! That’s… yeah… another coincidence! I know I don’t believe in coincidence, and it’s a lot of them, but my brain breaks too when I think about it. I just can’t believe they did all that on purpose. It’s just too twisty!
I still don’t know what to make of their separations announcements. I didn’t know David and Téa announced their separation on Felix’ birth, are you sure it happened this way? I knew their divorced was announced on Gillian’s birthday and Gillian and Mark’s separation was announced on David’s birthday.
The way I see it is that Gillian and Gillian’s people didn’t pay much attention to what they were doing and when, and because Gillian is Gillian and she’s used to put her foot in her mouth and to goof up, of course, her breakup with Mark was announced on David’s birthday! I think it’s pure coincidence, the kind of coincidence that would make Gillian shake her head in disbelief and facepalm for the rest of her life.
David and Téa’s divorce was announced by TMZ on Gillian’s birthday too. It’s different, because they didn’t chose to announce it themselves, or at least, that’s not what’s in the TMZ article. TMZ said they “found out” they have divorced. I’m assuming they didn’t “found out” randomly. I assume David or Téa’s wanted to release the news, and their people, somehow found a way to tell TMZ. Even if I think David and Gillian were already together when it was announced, I don’t think that’s the kind of “gift” David would do to Gillian. I can’t see him being so disrespectful towards Téa. So maybe TMZ wanted to fuck around, and thought it was a good joke. Or maybe it’s another facepalm coincidence.
To sum it up, I don’t believe David and Gillian wanted to fuck with us. Not with their private life, and certainly not with something as important as a separation and a divorce, and breaking families apart. I can’t believe they would have “gifted” each other with such an announcement, it would be weird, most of all to their former partners, even more if you’re assuming that they’ve played a role in each other’s separation. So I’d go with the coincidence theory… But I’m shaking my head and facepalming every time I think about it. Seriously, though!
All Adele’s songs are Gillovny as hell!
Nah, they’re not the majority. They reassure themselves saying so, but who is the majority isn’t that hard to see. Just check the notes on tumblr or the likes on twitter on Gillovny posts/tweets versus those of Gorgans’. It’s pretty telling 🙂
“When we were young” by Adele was written for them and no one will make me think otherwise.

He’s such a sap!
Yeah right? Especially one of you does it for me 🙂
No, because the actual quote is “forced marriage”, not “abusive” which is completely different. What she says is actually very sweet and thoughtful about their relationship:
“David and I are closer now than we have ever been. Look, when you are working with somebody for such an intense period of time, of course you don’t want to see them outside work. I didn’t want to see the girl who was doing my hair every day, either. There are inherent complications in such forced marriages. In other countries the men get to beat the women; thankfully, that doesn’t fly in America. It was an important time for both of us. So we worked a lot of things out together in a psychological and metaphysical way.”
