I just don’t see G and D ever making their relationship public, and mainly because of D. I know you disagree, but didn’t he say that his kids were the most important? Imagine what it be like if G&D announced that they were together (it’d be like the Cutting Room x 100000). There would be speculations about them over the years, before and during his marriage. People who know something and keep silent out of respect for their privacy now that they aren’t officially together->

-> if they were to come out, would start spilling stories from the past. Like they now make all the lists of costars who hated each other, they would be on the lists of costars who secretly banged each other. G would probably be okay, since I doubt anybody in England would make a fuss, but here it would be huge, and I just don’t see him going through with that. So sadly, I don’t see their romantic relationship having any future.

I understand your point and I can feel you’re a David’s fan and not so much a Gillian’s fan, am I right?
The thing is, the way I see it, it’s Gillian who is more reluctant to go public and David who doesn’t give a shit anymore. I think it’s the same in their life, in general. David seems to have decided to live his life, enjoying it, doing what he wants when wants and not caring about other’s opinion. On the other hand, I think Gillian still struggles with needing to be in control and controlling her image and protecting her privacy.
Those rumors you’re talking about already exist. People, fans, press, already believe they’ve banged in the 90’s. It’s not going to make any fuss, or maybe it will for a time and then the press will move on, and David’s kids are old enough to handle it if their parents talk to them.
There’s also the fact that David’s career as an actor isn’t as high as Gillian’s for the moment. She’s the one on magazines’ front page, she’s the one filming movies and series non stop when David is doing his music and writing his book which doesn’t give him a lot of exposure compared to Gillian right now.
So actually, I think going public would have more consequences, positive or not, on Gillian’s career and image than on David’s. I think she knows it, and with the fact that her kids are still very young and very protected from all that, I believe she’s the one being reluctant to make this final step.
But with the recent mess, and this dating rumor going on, maybe she’ll change her mind and kill two birds with one stone.

I just watched Kimmel again (for about the 100th time, but that’s irrelevant 😉) I just do not get how people are saying that D makes G uncomfortable. I mean WTF?! Do you people not have eyes?! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh, I can totally see why they’re making people uncomfortable. I don’t have that kind of anxiety when it’s only a tv show, buy you must admit that watching this can make you feel like you’re the third wheel alone with an obnoxious couple. It’s both embarrassing and mesmerizing.

During press for her new film yesterday GA said she thinks she’s played Scully for long enough and that she’s not a character she misses. If I was a betting woman, I’d say it’ll take a shit ton of persuading for her to do the show again. Which brings me to my next point: if she was dating DD you’d think she’d jump at the chance to spend several months with him in Canada, but nope. She’d rather be in London with a certain other Jewish man.

But since I’ve started answering, PM is also spending time with his kids in Austria.  So he isn’t in London full-time.  

Funny, everyone is excited to say Gillian is running to PM’s side, supporting him, proud of him, spending time with him, and no one thinks that for one moment it’s hypocritical? When anyone on the Gillovny side dared to suggest that Gillian was spending time in NY with David, the accusation was that we were calling her a bad mother and neglectful.  When we said she was proud of David – and openly so! – we were shouted down and told it’s all PR, but we’re too stupid to see that.  When anyone said anything about David spending time in London, we were immediately told there’s no proof and he has two teens here who need him, so he can’t just go be with a woman (as if teens aren’t self-reliant).  When we suggested that David and Gillian had gone off on holiday together, we were told that we were living in a laughable fantasy and that they have kids, so they would never do that.  As if going on holiday was a sin, and as if two adults spending time together required the 24 hour presence of children.

So, I don’t think she’s been in London for anything PM related. Her kids live with her, and there’s their dad to consider.  We know nothing about Mark’s schedule and it’s quite possible that he’s not been able to have the kids as often as he had while he goes through a busy period.  Who knows.  Gillian’s also been filming in the US, had events in the US, and still has her full US team working for her. Anyone no longer interested in working in the US wouldn’t continue to keep an entire team on staff.  

I’ll say it again and I’ll keep saying it. There’s absolutely nothing in Gillian’s behaviour, interaction or words that suggests PM is anything but professional (or, at the most, a friend) to her.  If you want to believe otherwise, you’re entitled.  I know what I believe and feel strongly about, and have no reason to think otherwise, especially given what we’ve seen and what logic dictates.

What allows you to keep shipping Gillovny now she’s with someone else? Just stop
