It’s difficult to have any hope when the tweeting behavior shift is so stark. Actually, if the tweeting had stopped like it has and there was no rumor, I guarantee you no one would be reading so much into it. It’s unfortunate timing that the dial was turned down at the same time as the rumor, the award shows, and his dumb show. Also, you are being naive. People are evil and have agendas. The best way to not let it spiral out of control is to publicly say that you will not comment further.

I know but the tweeting hasn’t stopped, though. Not really. She has answered his driver story with a sweet tbt very recently.
She has toned down her twitter, but not only about David. She has done it in general. Remember one of her tweet to a friend was removed and rewritten.
It can have something to do with the rumor, but I don’t think so. She has decided to use her social media in a more professional way than personal, for her projects and charity. That’s a choice. I regret it, but maybe at some point she’ll get bored and go back talking about the size of David’s dick. Who knows!

And don’t worry about me, anon. I will handle this situation no matter what 🙂

Why do you think GA stopped tweeting to DD? DD never really tweeted directly to her all that much, so his lack of tweets is not surprising. But almost every tbt from GA used to be about DD. Something happened in Oct/Nov, right around the time the rumor started. And now she seems uninterested in the X-Files while she attends GG for the crown and tweets about it even though she isn’t in it. She’s tweeted more about it than her voiceover work!

Same anon who sent you an ask about twitter a few minures ago. I just went through GA’s tumblr and she suddenly stops all references to DD after the latex tweet. This was right arpund the time the rumor started. Before, that it’s filled with jokes, flirty comments, tbts etc. Something definitely happened. They haven’t been spotted together since the last con and she never speaks about DD anymore. He only speaks about her when asked directly (like the bad driver story). I have lost all hope.

It’s true she has cooled down her flirtation on Twitter with David, but she didn’t stop mentioning him, though, even if it’s more lowkey. She has tweeted a sweet video over Christmas, and her tbt about being the best driver was with no doubt a reference to what David said at his last con. 

The use of her social media changed, but not only about David. She used to post tbt with her on a plastic doll for example, and I feel like she wouldn’t do it anymore. I miss her goofy self on social media, but I don’t think it has anything to do with her relationship with David. I think it’s more a professional choice in general. Maybe it won’t last, though.

As about David, he always talks about Gillian, especially when no one asks him to. At his last con, someone asked him what was his best memory with Mitch and he was disappointed the question wasn’t about Gillian. For the bad driver story, someone asked him the best prank he did on The X-Files, he probably had a large choice, but he picked this one. The girl in the panel didn’t specifically ask about Gillian. Take your hopes back! 🙂

I read this gillovny fic about D and G (I think it was post IWTB premiere) where they really wanted each other, but were both with other people. So they had this « it’s not cheating if we don’t touch rule » and it was basically them getting themselves off without touching. Would you happen to know the link to it? Idk if it was one of yours or not.

Oh! I remember reading it too a long time ago. It was probably on AO3. Im on mobile right now, so I can’t really make some research. Does anyone know where to find it? If not, I’ll try to fin it later! That was a good one!

To get off the heavy topics from last few days, let’s go back to the Cutting Room. D&G’s kiss was all the talk but did David kiss any of his other guests? (1 of 2)

(2 of 2) Madeleine M, maybe? I didn’t see the whole show so I’ve always wondered if his “I kiss her hello” was just thing because it was G and no one really cared if he kissed anyone else?

Oh no, Madeleine is/was still a teenager and he didn’t kiss her that way at all. I think they hugged, that’s all. Pamela Adlon kissed him on the lips when he got his star on Hollywood Boulevard but it was very chaste, though.

I’d totally get it if people were just not feeling Gillovny anymore. That’s fine, you do you. But what’s with this retroactive Gillovny-shaming? They say there’s more evidence for G dating PM than it ever was for Gillovny: where is it, I’d like to know? They swoon over ‘heart eyes’ in that GG picture – huh? I wish I could link pics, just for reference – remember that one in the tent with DD and Kumail? That was heart eyes, complete with drooling and almost falling of her chair. This is nothing.

There is no more evidence for Gillian dating PM, but most of all, there is nothing encouraging such a ship from Gillian or PM.

At least, with Gillovny, we can all agree that Gillian has publicly expressed she is okay with the idea, either you believe it’s a game or not, she does have fun with it, tease the fandom with Gillovny and somehow, encourage the ship. That’s why we all feel comfortable believing what we do, and shipping them with no shame. But Gillian never said anything about Peter Morgan at all, personally wise or professionally wise. So I find it extremely borderline to say she is in love when she might not be, that she has heart eyes when she clearly does not, that he’s the One and she’s going to raise his kids, when she actually could as well be in a relationship with someone else, or be single if that’s what you believe, or whatever. All this ship is quite disturbing and slightly disrespectful considering the absence of communication from Gillian.
