1/2 I know this question is not popular, and I can imagine that you won’t answer it, but even so I’m asking: We all love Gillian and David, but why do so many people here constantly say they “lie” when they say something about their rs what does not fit to their imagination (“they say this, but we know better…”)? Lets take the question about the cutting room on the Build interview: The band members where nobodies before they were on stage with David. …

2/2 It was one of their first concerts, with D they were on stage with 1 star, with G they were with 2 stars, exciting! Why is he nervous about this question? Constantly the same questions is boring, so he let first answer the ones which found it exciting! It was time to promote s10 and you were hooked by their performance, they did a great acting on stage – why does no one honors this? We only see them in the public, they are actors, none of us know how they are when there is no camera!

We say they’re lying because they are lying. It’s not a suspicion, it is a fact. When it comes to them and some “private” moment of their lives, they just can’t get their story straight. Back then, it was the trailer story. Once Gillian found David naked in his trailer, then it was in her trailer. 

Once, they exchange only five emails a year and the day after, they had breakfast together. David didn’t know she had written a book but she was one of the first to read his before it came out and she heard him sing before everyone knew he was doing music. All of that while still exchanging five email a year.

Now it’s the Cutting Room. Once Gillian was in NY and “It was kinda magical for them, cause it’s just nice to share this particular aspect of what he’s doing with her,” and it was David’s “best night of his life” and then it’s just xf promo because they were at the Upfronts before. 

They just can’t get their story straight, never, and that is because they’re never really telling the truth, which is okay, I guess. It just shows that they do have a private life together and sometimes some things slip out and they have to change the reality so they don’t get too obvious, but then they forget what their first “official” versions of the story were so they change it again and again. 

You’re free to believe any version of these stories, they all come from their own mouths. I chose to believe the one I like better but somehow, I feel like none of them are the real truth anyway.

This randomly popped into my head, and I would love your opinion. G seems to always need to be in a relationship – if you buy into her jumping right from Mark to David. I think maybe PM started to pursue her and she threw that in David’s face. Maybe at the end of that Schmoopie Shirt weekend she told him ‘I have someone who wants to be with me AND he lives in my city’ hoping to convince D to move to be with her more, but David called her bluff. (1/?)

(2/2) Only she wasn’t bluffing and got pissed and ended things jumping right into 🐢. I don’t know why, but I have a feeling D and G are both very stubborn and I can seem them falling apart because of this stubbornness — neither wanting to seem to needy or vulnerable. So maybe 🐢 was never meant to be something serious that’s why it always seemed awkward in the beginning, but now she’s afraid to be alone so she’s with him. What do you think? Could this be a possibility or am I crazy?!

I guess it could be a possibility. Why not. I guess we will never know so as long as none of them tell us the real truth, every opinion are valid. 
Personally, I think what happened might have been a little more serious than PM just happening to be there and Gillian taking any man who just lived there instead of David. I don’t see her ditching him just because someone else popped up.
But I agree with the fact that they’re both very stubborn and if the universe is telling Gillian that her significant other is David, she’ll try everything in her power to get away from him before she gives up and gets back to him again and again and again until she gets it for good. I also agree that PM isn’t that serious and probably just a rebound. He won’t stay around more than a few more months. Gillian has patterns… 

Well, I think it’s quite hard to say if David’s songs are about Gillian. Safe bet is Tea, for sure. Are all of his songs about Tea though, that I don’t know. But as long as David and Gillian don’t admit that they are or were together, we’re not going to get a statement from David that any of his song is about Gillian… Maybe if it’s called « I love my platonic friend in a very platonic way ». Other than that, we can only assume and it’s up to our interpretation what are his songs about.

I agree and I’d buy this song right now! That’s a good title for his third album!

I didn’t like hearing the answer to the gillovny cutting room question ;( made it seem less gillovny that the only reason he asked her to come perform was cause she happened to be in NY for upfronts and it was « good timing » for S10 Promo too. I had thought it was a little more special and planned out than that. But at least what happened on stage still goes down in gillovny history! i’ll cling to that.

He can come up with whatever reason he wants. That’s never going to cancel that he “kissed her hello”. Twice.
