okay, so i had a dream. it was emmy’s and gillian went. david didn’t because he said he wanted to go see his kids. for some reason gillian won an award and had to do the speech. she thanked her kids, cast and crew, the directors etc. and she said « there’s this one last person that i wanted to thank. he’s a jerk and an idiot and sometimes drives me nuts. he doesn’t respect my privacy when i’m mad, he’s always there even when i say i don’t want him to. but we both know i want him to. he interrupts

me when i speak. with kisses. he annoys the shit out of me when i yell and he just says “i love you”. and for some reason i love him too and i’ve learnt to live with that. i’ve learnt because he’s my whole life now. david, i love you and i’ll see you soon". and when she turns around it happens that david was there and he came to the stage and knelt in front of her and asks “will you let me interrupt you with kisses? will you let my reply to your screams be “i love you”? will you let me steal the last bit of chocolate when i want to? will you let me always be there for you? will you please marry me for all the reasons you love me?“ and she says yes. i should never wake up.

what do you mean it changes nothing if he was there? it changes everything! the screening was on sep 7 and gillovnycon (as it was nicknamed) was on aug 22. we all thought, based on the fact that ga wore the ‘i’m with schmoopie’ t-shirt, that her and dd were somehow together, but this proves the whole schmoopie thing was tongue-in-cheek. there’s no way ga split with dd on aug 22 and was seeing pm within a fortnight of that happening.

No, it doesn’t change anything for me. We discovered him in October, we could already legit assume they knew each other before that. I’m pretty sure they attended the same events many times before, we just didn’t pay attention, and they were not necessarily dating already.
It doesn’t change what Gillovny was and it doesn’t change that Gillian loves David and David loves Gillian.
Something was off at the Gillovnycon, I think everyone can agree on that, at least during the panel. Maybe they went through something but whatever it was, they’re good now. So I’m going to focus on the present time and the futur development of Gillovny instead on reminiscing the dark past.

that means gillian was dating peter before chicago con. chicago was on the 22nd of august and the fall screening was on sep 7th. no way she and david split up and gillian was dating peter within 2 weeks of them breaking up (as some people theorized). there was no professional reason for peter to be at a screening of the fall unless he was there for gillian either.

Looks like PM lives at the BFI, though. They’ve probably attended a lot of events together when they weren’t together. They navigate in the same circles, have many friends in common. So I’m not sure him being there mean that they were already together. Could be, though.
I’m not sure it changes anything to be honest. I still think something happened between David and Gillian over the summer, maybe it was because of PM, maybe not. We will never know, and him attending her event a few weeks before the rumor started won’t change what Gillovny was and is.

Do you think think Gillian and David are using the Brick twitter to give us some twitter interaction – because they want to keep the fans engaged but they feel it would send mixed signals going it direct as she’s got a bf now?

It’s an option, but I don’t think so. Gillian is posting pictures of David with cute captions so I don’t think it’s that. But I think David is using Brick’s account to avoid using his! We know his repulsion for social media and his fear to say something he shouldn’t, especially when Gillian’s around, probably trying to force him tweeting silly stuff, so Brick is safer I guess. Annoying but safer.
