I’ve been thinking about writing it but I wasn’t sure if it was worth it. The thing is me and my bf have a weird relationship. It’s slightly similar to DD/GA chemistry and it used to terrify us. We have a tendency to develop a symbiotic relationship , and it disturbes others we have. We had a one night stand and it almost destroyed us. I was just imagening what is to David and Gillian bc what they have is stronger than anything I’ve seen. They must had fight it for years.

Thanks for sharing this, anon! Every relationships are different and unique, but theirs is indeed stronger than anything else. They’ve probably fought it for years, they said they tried not to have chemistry after all. But I think the fighting is over for a few years now, and “all that’s left is the heart” 🙂

I’ve been thinking about gillovny. I think their relationship it’s too complicated to put it into words. They can’t be apart nor can be together. They’re meant to be but they can’t be at the same time. I feel like they had fought those feelings for so long and they have given up and just accepted what they mean to e/o. But this doesn’t make the ride any easier. They probably have to struggle daily to make things working. Maybe that’s why they won’t come up bc they need to protect their love.

I think Gillian and David can’t even define and put words on what their relationship is. They said it’s unique and can’t be explained, so in a sense, you’re definitely right. But somehow, I think they’ve found a way to function together now and that’s why they keep saying they’re closer now that they ever had been.

1/4 David was sat up in bed fully engrossed in his phone yet every once in while he noticed the sound of Gillian tossing and turning beside him. After some time, he felt a light tap on his shoulder and peeled his eyes away from his phone to see Gillian’s big blue eyes staring up at him, “I can’t sleep. Will you read to me?”, “Of course, what would you like me to read?”, “Whatever it is your reading on your phone. » David looked to his phone, then back to Gillian and back to his phone again,

2/4 “You sure?”, “Yeah I just wanna hear your voice. It’s soothing.”, “Okay.” With that David took a minute to figure out where he had left off before he began reading out loud, “We make it to Chili’s with no further interruptions. Scully picks a booth behind the retaining wall, which is, incidentally, not the one the waiter wants us to sit in. That’s my Scully.” Gillian suddenly sat up in bed with a look of confusion on her face, "David what the hell are you reading?”, “Uhhh…”

¾ He knew Gillian would be surprised by his choice of a bedtime story but was hoping she would find it funny or cute and not completely strange and inappropriate. “It’s this really famous story in the x files community.”, “About a Chili’s?”, “Well I haven’t gotten to the best part, we…I mean… Mulder and Scully do it in the booth of the Chili’s.” Gillian laughed both at David’s slipup but also at hearing about where the story was headed, “Every time I think x files fans can’t surprise me..”

4/4 David was starting to feel ashamed and like he had made a terrible mistake, “It’s silly, I know.” Gillian turned to look David right in the eyes and she suddenly seemed incredibly intense and serious, “Silly? It sounds so hot, keep reading!”. And so, David continued.

Hi new fan. There used to be a Masterpost Gillovny timeline starting in 2013, but sadly, the blogger deleted it which is very very sad. Since then, I don’t think anyone did a new one, it’s such a big piece of work! 

I did one for 2016 only, though, and a lot happened in 2016, so you can start by that. It’s here.

I can’tbelive all these people who say ga&dd interactions were off. What more did they expect, that they’d kiss like in the cutting room or have that sex on the table? It wasn’t a small intimate event, it was filmed, the audiences would absolutely have lost it like they always do when something gillovny happens. And more importantly, ga is pictured on rc with dd with his one good arm around her, she’s laughing her ass off while he’s introducing her award,he offers to hold her > 1/3

2/2 she does that full body laugh with head thrown back angling herself into him which even no body language experts know that it means flirting, he leans in to her and touches her immediately when he has a free hand for that, and yet it is somehow off! ga tweets it made her year and it’s not enough! Now I really didn’t want to do that, but what did we ever see with PM? ga looking stone-faced in one pic with him on the rc, ga tweeting about chocolate during his big night, > 2/3

3/3 him looking at gg with 110x more love than at ga, him dragging her after him in the car, him walking ahead, living her w/o an umbrella in the rain, the list goes on and on! And yet this is somehow normal couples behaviour? What gets me personally, it’s the way she stopped laughing when she looked at him at baftas. Never a good sign. After the akwardness of bafta, ga&dd at webbys were like frolicking kittens or puppies. Maybe that’s why people were expecting them to start licking e/o faces?

People are always expecting them to lick each other’s face. And when they actually do, metaphorically of course, like on Kimmel, they say it’s for PR. As I said, they never win in this situation. But who cares? They did their thing, they clearly enjoyed themselves, and I think the major part of the fandom did enjoy this night A LOT!
