Why do they keep putting Mitch in the Gillovny panels? His character wasn’t even that important 😥🙄

It was, and I love Skinner and Mitch, don’t get me wrong. But how hard is it for a convention to understand that they’d make more money with just David and Gillian? People would pay thousands on dollars for a picture with just David and Gillian without anyone else on it! Panels would me 10 times more interesting. They would be one of the very few cons in the last 25 years having Just David and Gillian. I don’t understand…

‼️‼️ARGH!!! I’ve been watching Gillovnycon (Wizard World) from several angles and I have finally solved the mystery of what David said to Gillian off the mic!!! 🙊 The part where he gave her a nudge, remember? Here goes the conversation: “Hey Gillian, he’s talking about you.” “He’s talking about—?” “He’s talking about you.” “Oh, is he?” *GA panics and turns to Mitch* *DD gives another nudge* “No, no…” *DD moves his hand as if to say “you know what I mean”* *GA gets the joke and smiles* (1/2)

During that moment Mitch was saying that directors didn’t know how to deal with actors. William B Davis then mentions Kim Manners. Mitch says he’s “not talking about Kim” but basically all the other ones. That’s why David made that joke to Gillian who directed an episode! He wanted to joke out loud but Mitch was talking too much so he told it directly to Gillian! ☺️ Anyway, it wasn’t any important piece of information but it was cute! So I wanted to share just in case! Problem solved! ✅ (2/2)

Really? It’s possible, I guess. I always thought David was pointing to someone / something behind Mitch at this moment, and it felt like he wasn’t even listening to him, but that’s something we’ll never know 🙂 Thanks for sharing your thoughts, anon!

Ohh I haven’t been on your blog last year for gillovnycon, what were youre highlights?

I hope you don’t mind me being lazy and just sending you this little post I made with my highlights of the first day 🙂
But I think what I remember the most about Gillovnycon aside from David biting at Gillian’s shirt and all the cute stories from the photo OP, is the picture @sembell took with them. No one else managed such a great pic!

Happy 1st Anniversary of Gillovnycon! 🥁✨👫 I remember how we would count down the days all summer last year! And then we got the first pics of Gillian in her Schmoopie➡️ shirt and we went craaazy! 😄 Aww those were the days. 😢 But I’m sure there will be other cons in the future with the both of them. And possibly more fun t-shirts. 😏

Jhh do you know anything about that audio that was taken during the Chicago comic con with Gillian’s voice on it talking about David in a bad mood or something?

I assume you’re talking about these two little videos: 

– Gillian asking “where the fuck is David”

– Gillian yelling “David!”, and saying “he can get off his ass and get over here"

But I wouldn’t call it “bad mood”, though. At the time, I found it extremely funny and cute, and I still do. That’s just their dynamic. She bosses him around, and he doesn’t mind because he loves her.
