XFN was in attendance at the FOX winter TCA panel for The X-Files with Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, Mitch Pileggi, Glen Morgan, James Wong, and Darin Morgan. A lot was discussed including Gillian’s thoughts on why this is truly her last run as Dana Scully and her appreciation for the character and the Mulder and Scully relationship. Fox are typically keeping their cards close to the chest as to what will happen in Season 11, but events will take place two years after season 10.
In the series finale, Mulder’s life was left hanging in the balance as he succumbed to a deadly virus, but in the final moments, a triangle-shaped UFO shone a bright light over him, Scully and Miller.
The episode ended with Scully looking at the lights of the spacecraft.
