Basically… Me right now!
As a native English speaker (American – and let’s be real, G is basically all American) you would not say « If I was single » to imply anything other than a BF/partner/spouse…. I’ve never heard anyone say what she said in relation to just having others to care for. Point #2: wtf is this a slow coming out of sorts?! First the partner comment, then answering « yes » when asked about her partner’s support, then this article stating she isn’t single. I hope we all get out answers soon!!!!!!
