I don’t know. I guess I just don’t see her actions the same as you. I can’t see that providing us with all this bts stuff, most of which feature David, tweeting tidbits about each episode as they’re airing, counts as distancing herself from TXF or David. Seems the opposite to me. Lack of joint promo, you’ve said yourself I think(?), is nothing to do with her. I feel like we don’t appreciate what she gives us, choosing instead to criticise. It feels an ungrateful environment right now, it’s sad.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m incredibly grateful for her twitter feed every Wednesday, but I’m not fooled either. These pictures has been sent to her handler, this handler has been buffering all of them and that’s it. That’s her promo for the whole show. David has given us nothing on social media but he’s the one doing all the good press. I don’t know if that’s fair, maybe it is, but all in all, it could have been so much better.

Buffering a few pictures of she and David knowing that it’s the only thing that will give her any kind of attention from the fans right now, is also allowing her to distance herself from XF without looking like she is. She put her Twitter account on automatic mode so she can keep dragging XF and David during every interview now. That’s a little bit schizophrenic and sad. It just shows that she knows that she has to do it, but her heart isn’t at it.

Everyone is spiralling. Again. Can we get upset about things we actually see come out of her mouth, and not about written articles with no proof of context or that she actually said those things word for word? When did we start believing the media? People say her actions are contradictory to her ‘words.’ WHY DON’T WE BELIEVE HER ACTIONS INSTEAD THEN? Sorry to vent at you JHH. You have an audience and I wanted to get this out there. Everyone would be so much happier if they just calmed down.

I would agree with you if her action actually spoke louder than her words. But lately, her actions aren’t better than what she says. She’s saying and doing everything in her power to distance herself from The X-Files and from David, even if she has to lie and rewrite the past for that. It’s sad, but it’s her choice and she might have her reasons for doing this. But when this phase is over, when she can’t go lower anymore and when all those big leading roles in big Hollywood movies that she thinks The X-Files prevent her from getting won’t come, she’ll pay the price of what she’s doing now.
