I don’t know what people expected from the book signing video..?? I thought it was nice! I love seeing celebrities just being themselves, in front of a “normal” camera. The questions were good. I loved the little tidbits of David not being a good cook and such. And he was in a good mood/particularly likable. So I don’t know why everybody is always complaining about this. 🤷‍♀️

I agree David was good. it’s always the same with this kind of event, some questions are really interesting and some are really not. He was funny and smart and charming. I was mostly complaining about Brad being involved with more than just his music now.

Hearing David describing his book to Colbert reminded me of American Gods. I have not read any of these books and David’s style is very different so I’m sure the books will be different but the basic premise, as he described it, about God’s from Europe that came to America with the immigrants sounded similar. I can’t wait to read it.

Oh yes, I get the similarities in the description but I’ve read both American Gods and Miss Subways and they’re very very different. You will love it!
