If we get Gillian and David together tomorrow at the upfronts acting all goofy and surrounded by fuckery I will come off anon and put something rare from my xf collection on ebay and give the proceeds to naya kismet.

Hey anon! Remember that? You know where to go now —> @naya-kismet

Hello, Anon! If you wish you can contact us here, or you can message directly @justholdinghandsok or me, @sunshinetoday if you still feel like donating to our little project!

Thank you!

I’m still in denial. But when I logically tell myself to look at evidence so I can move on, I see almost no « evidence ». So I’m stuck. I showed my best friend the pics and video. She’s not in any fandom and not invested in G or Gillovny. She said she’s seen people happier for seats at a restaurant than what G looked like next to PM. She watched the video and said she thought PM was mean and demanding and G was uncomfortable. Fwiw, she said she doesn’t think GPM is a thing (based on HB or GG).

I might still be in denial too, but I don’t see evidence either. He didn’t kiss her, but he had no problem to show his affection to Claire when she won. There’s not a single pic where Gillian smiles around him, or even look at him. He hold her hand, or tried to hold her hand to lead her in car? Okay, that happened, but it’s not enough of an evidence for me either.

THIS!!!!! ALL OF IT. I know, however, there are others on Tumblr who feel exactly the opposite. I do not see love or happiness around him. Clearly Gillian was happy to be dressed up and at the event. Anything more…I do not see it.

Right! When GA was her happiest seemed to be on the red carpet by herself or when she was cheering on everyone involved in the show – John Lithgow, Claire Foy and Peter Morgan. Actually, she seemed more stoked about John Lithgow than anything, giving him a “woohoo!” when Claire Foy thanked him. Those after party pictures, she looked straight up bored sitting next to him. Also, I cringed at the YouTube video – he seems kinda like a dick. I think they may just be friends – I don’t see any evidence that screams “couple!” Basically until something is confirmed by their representation, I’m sticking to the friends thing.

When The Crown won, she didn’t even congratulate him. She just rose from her seat with the rest of the crew and clapped. And she didn’t seem happy or proud to stand next to her “man” who win Golden Globe. So much for a supportive “girlfriend”. And when they were coming to the After Party she walked over to the fans and he didn’t even look after her, just came in without her. Like he gave no fucks about her. I remember Andrew at The Crown premiere who was waiting for her when she walked to the fans…

People say they don’t scream “couple”. They don’t scream “good friends” either! Never look at each other, never touch, barely talk, except when he rudely rushed her to the car. It seems like they were there together not by their choices. Netflix? I bet.

Oh, and guys, he was after Brexit. If someone tells me that he is after Trump too, I will literally throw up!

Through the entire event, as well as the after-party, Gillian kept her body/arms/legs to herself. She wasn’t beaming next to PM, she was stiff, and she was taking great pains to keep from being too close to him. (And this doesn’t fit the slow coming out theory because, hello, then you should be gradually touching and warmly interacting, not ignoring each other and behaving with more excitement toward people other than your supposed “boyfriend”.) All the pictures of them together had Gillian leaning in, which only amplified her clear discomfort and showed that she had to physically move closer to him for the shot. This has nothing to do with being “private”, as some have insisted. If you’re going to come out, then you don’t behave like that. Coming out means you want to show your feelings and closeness and love. There was NONE of that between them. Gillian looked happy at countless other moments through the night, but never in shots with PM.

There is NO instance under which she should have had her name barked, followed by a command saying they need to leave. It’s unacceptable. The accepted explanation by others is that if David had done that, we would all be screaming “Gillovny!” and writing RPF about limo sex. Excuse me, but no. First, David would NOT bark at Gillian, order her to his side or literally drag her to the car. Second, the same way we think it’s disgusting that PM did that is the same way we would find it distasteful coming from David.

There was NOTHING in Gillian’s interaction with PM that said couple, or that showed warmth, pride, or a desire to be there. On the contrary, there was much coldness, awkwardness and stiffness. When she did interact with him, it looked forced, at best. She did NOT glow, or radiate happiness and warmth, as she has around David. She’s even been happier around Mads Mikkelsen. Hell, she’s probably been happier around her mechanic.

There’s nothing from the GGs, other than being the second official event tied in to Netflix and/or The Crown, to suggest anything romantic. If anything, it looked like some bizarre, forced arrangement. And keep in mind, neither David, nor Gillian, have looked pained. In fact, David’s been happy, relaxed and gushing about Gillian. I don’t care how long one thinks he and Gillian have been together, whether it’s a year or three or more, break-ups cause pain and that reflects. Especially when it’s an intimate, loving relationship, leaving it will show.

There are VAST differences between ANY David and Gillian interaction and all the Gillian and PM interactions. That’s a fact. There is nothing normal or loving between her and PM. How someone can say that PM is “the one” and that they way he treated her, as seen through moments captured on camera, is loving, is beyond me.
