You did make an excellent point, tks! And you’re right, it’s sad (frustrating, really) that no matter what they do, many will always claim it’s some sort of PR. If they’re all handsy and flirty, it’s ‘all for show’… if there’s lack of interaction, oh, then they’re ‘estranged’ or ‘broke up.’ It’s a ‘damned if you do, damned if you don’t’ situation and it suuuuuucks! Anyway, I digress lol. I really hope they find a way to balance that and just come out already lol

It seems like they lose all the time with this. But I do think they’re just being themselves when together, and don’t second guess their behavior wondering if they should do this or say that. If they did, we wouldn’t have had “moist in the anteroom” and “all that’s left is the heart” for example. They’re spontaneous, despite what one might think, and that’s why we love them!

About this lack of interaction at the upfronts, I was wondering if it actually had to do with D and G’s choice and not FOX’s. I mean, if they’re taking a ‘slow roll’ and want ppl to take their relationship seriously (and not a ‘showmance’ or a ‘PR boost’), wouldn’t it make sense they avoided being all flirty or posing together to reinforce this idea? The Webby was different, tho. That was purely D and G in their truest form: relaxed, happy and giddy 🙄 What do you think? Am I making sense? lol

I didn’t think about that and you do make sense. It’s possible I guess, but still I think it goes against their appearance at The Webbys. With them doing one more season, this ceremony, even if it was for another show, could be taken as a PR boost like the Cutting Room was taken by some. Sadly, as long as the show continues, each of their joint appearance will be seen as PR strategy by some people. They can’t do anything against that.

I do think those footage of them together at the Upfronts exist somewhere. We only saw a glimpse of them, and this is what I don’t understand. Someone is holding them back and I don’t get why.
