JHH I wanted to voice my opinion and I am sorry but for me there is no way that David and Gillian both get partners around the same time. they have been single for years and then all the sudden not only Gillian gets a BF but David gets a GF. It seems way to much of a coincidence to me! I just have this gut feeling it is not true, that it is all for show and I cannot figure out why yet but come on people, let us use our brains and not believe every article or picture that is posted!

 It’s been five weeks since our favorite show is back in production!! Let’s see what happened in this busy week. *First, second, third fourth -week summary also just a warning: shameless self-promotion can be found in some of links😂* 

This week was off to a phenomenal start when we learned that: ‘Following the explosive events of 2016’s stunning finale, Chris Carter, David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and Mitch Pileggi will delight fans when they premiere an exclusive first look of the new 10-episode event series coming January 2018 to FOX! The Xfiles, Main Stage, NYCC, Sunday 8th October, 1-2pm

We all want Paley Guy, Keith Uhlich to moderate this panel, but he has not yet been approached! Thank you @alienbaby-babymama for the information!

Gillian confirmed the news, they will be at the NYCC!

We got some more filming information:

  1. They were filming a party scene at Langley (6 September)
  2. Tsawwassen Mills Mall (7 September)
    1. Opening a new X-File today. Outlet malls IG pic
  3. Near main science world Skytrain, downtown (7 September)
  4. In studio ( 7 September)
    1. We had this cool BTS pic posted on IG.
  5. The X-Files is setup on W57th near Carnarvon/Balaclava in Vancouver. Not sure if filming there today though. (8 September)
  6. Filming is back at Riverview Hospital (11 September)

David tweeted happy birthday to the actor, playing Jeffrey Spender: ‘Happy Birthday to Chris Owens! An excellent actor and good man. #specialagent #jeffreyspender @thexfiles’

David answered and we all got snappy and very emotional. ‘ What’s a little mud and rain between partners.’  

Frank Spotnitz celebrated the 24 years, too and he shared his favourite memory! favourite memory! favourite memory! favourite memory! ‘But watching the opening-night audience react to Mulder NOT kiss Scully in “Fight the Future” was unforgettable.‘

Fox social media team woke up from their sleep, only to make the Pilot streaming available in the US…I guess they don’t think there are fans outside America😂😂

The older guy is the best friend of DD and I think it’s his daughter. Both were seen at a airport during his tour. (https://youtu.be/f3IHirZbBTA ) I think @ddismyguiltypleasure would know more.

And the other guy is Jason Bergh. Also one of the closest friends. He played two times on the X files and on Californiacation.

If you believe that GA and DD are together in the romantic sense, you might want to read the love and relationships chapter of GA’s book. She talks about chemical attraction being toxic, and that if you have instant chemistry with someone you should probably run in the opposite direction as it’s likely that person won’t turn out to be good for you.

So for people who haven’t read this far, here’s the correct phrasing of what Gillian wrote in excerpts (and where to find it):

So.  Real friendship, liking the person when it’s real, wanting the best for each other, feeling right for healthy reasons, a journey really beginning…I don’t know how you’re interpreting it, but that sounds exactly like where David and Gillian are in their lives, especially when you remember how they’ve both talked about maturing and growing and changing.

But you want to interpret it in another way, go right ahead.  I encourage everyone to read the portion (and the book!) on their own and come to their own conclusions, based on what they’re reading, instead of what they’re being told by others.  I’ve had many asks like this, all virtually the same, and I’ve seen posts from other blogs that say practically the same thing.  

Leaving out the rest of what was said does no one any good and isn’t fair to the message that Gillian was trying to communicate.  So including the proper context and an explanation of the entire portion is the right thing to do, because it helps to understand the full meaning of what she was saying – which is obviously different than the message my ask is trying to send.

And yes, for the record, again, I believe David and Gillian are together, as a couple, and are best friends.
