Gillovny Timeline 2017 (part 2)

As every 6 months, I try to assemble everything that happened about David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson. Here’s the timeline from August to December 2017
(Read the previous timelines from early 2017 and 2016)

August 3rd: David and Gillian headed to Vancouver.

The birthday wishes

August 7th: Gillian wished David a happy birthday : “Better than birthday cake.
Happy Birthday Double D!”  David liked the tweet.

August 9th: David wished Gillian a happy birthday: “Sweets for the sweet. Happy Birthday @GillianA!” – Gillian replied : “Awe…sweet!” She then posted the picture of her birthday cake on Instagram. You can see that Brick was there too, and they also probably celebrated David’s birthday at the same time as there’s another cake in the shape of a guitar.

The Webby Awards podcast

August 16th: a podcast was released with insider information about

The Webby Awards. People who were there “saw something” that lead them to believe “they’re together!”

The BTS pictures

August 17th: 
– Gillian tweeted an X-Files #tbt: “Some things never change.” 
– Mark Mann released a new picture from his photoshoot with David and Gillian

August 21st: Gillian tweeted the first picture of she and David on the set. 

August 24th to 26th: Brick’s twitter account was born. The first tweet was a picture of Gillian and Brick hanging out on set, soon followed by a bunch of crazy banter between Gillian and Brick involving Nelson.

September 1st: Gillian posted a mysterious picture of David on set in her Instagram story.

The 24th anniversary of The X-Files

September 10th: 
– Gillian tweeted : “24 years today. Deja vu all over again. Thanks for repeatedly standing in the mud & the rain with me @davidduchovny” 
– David liked her post on Instagram.
– And then answered on Twitter : “What’s a little mud and rain between partners.”

September 13th:
– Gillian posted this picture of Foxid Muldey David on her Instagram story. 
– Gillian tweeted a picture of Brick. “I kind of feel like @brick_duchovny needs a cape.”

September 15th:
– Gillian tweeted about a bear inviting itself on set: “David said: “What do wild bears eat, other than actresses?”.
– David answered: “Luckily we go way back…”

September 20th: Gillian tweeted a selfie with David, Darin Morgan and Brian Huskey: “Don’t ask.”

September 25th: David & Gillian tweeted this picture of them taking a knee.

October 5th: Gillian posted a video of David: “Can’t decide if my favorite bit’s the balls, the shoes, or the stuff in between.”

Live from the set

October 6th: Gillian and David were filming during the night. They’ve been spotted chilling together between takes and Gillian was laying down, probable napping, next to David.

October 8th:
– There was a cute explanation from David about the bear story: “You said Dave it’s a bear! it’s a bear! what do I do? I said it’s not a bear. Then the bear comes out and I said don’t look at him. Walk to me. And you just walked to me. And I remember thinking If it comes at you, I’d have to get between you. And I was thinking, I don’t really wanna die…”(video) 
– A joke from Gillian about Mulder’s puppet having a double chin like David. She stroke his knee to make it up. (video) David thought she was going for his hand, but no!
– Gillian made an Instagram Live video right before the panel.
– They gave many interviews (BTS pic, more BTS pics and Gif from Gillian Instagram story)
– Gillian said : “It’s nice to work with people you enjoy working with, and it’s easy. David and I working together, other than being familiar, we get along really well and we have fun, and so in that respect it feels very relaxed…” during a table interview (watch the video).
– During the same table interview, David said “I love working with these people, and I love the show” (watch the video)
– Michael Ausiello posted a little video of Gillian on Instagram. He asked how did she think the panel went. Gillian answered “David was very funny!”
– David & Gillian took a few pictures on the red carpet. (here, here, here,)

More and more BTS…

October 18th: Gillian posted this naughty adorable selfie “eating my muffin.”

October 19th: David was on a podcast for his concert in Vancouver. He talked about how Gillian couldn’t come to his concert and how he decided to take a knee with her: “She had no idea what she was doing by the way. I was like, ‘Take a knee with me.’ And she was like, ‘Why?’ I said, ‘It’s okay. Let’s just do it. It’ll be cool.’ And then the next day she was like, ‘Oh my God. This is like the biggest thing I’ve ever done. I can’t believe what this is.” (listen to the podcast)

October 21st:
– Gillian posted a cute video of the inside of the makeup trailer. 
– Mitch shared two BTS pictures with him, David and Gillian. 

October 24th: Mitch shared a new BTS picture with a little joke from David : David: "Okay, is she doing the crazy eye thing again?”
Me: “Dunno, but I’m doing my beacon in the night thing.”

October 31th: Gillian tweeted a picture of David’s hairdresser : “Dena Green, David Hair.”

November 11th: David tweeted this bts picture

November 16th: Gillian tweeted this little video of David: Snapping on the latex.

Mark Mann, the shipper

Around November 22nd: Gillian was spotted in a plane to New-York.

November 23rd:
– on this picture from Mark Mann, someone commented about Gillian & David “I know it isn’t real but they’re terrific together.” Mark Mann answered :”who says…” (x)
– Then on the official page where you can buy David’s picture from Mark Mann you can read the caption “Gillian’s boyfriend?” (x)

November 28th: Mark Mann posted a story on Instagram with a print of Gillian’s picture signed saying “To mister Mann, my other lover.” It’s possible she signed it at this time as she was spotted going to New-York, where Mark Mann works, a few days before. 

Last month of filming

November 30th: Gillian tweeted a #tbt with David “Looks like we found the upside down first…but in the future”

December 1st:
– Gillian tweeted a picture of David “Praying to the Goddess Media. One. Last. Time.“
– David tweeted a picture of Gillian “It’s official…longest Gillyboard in history!“
– She liked the tweet and replied: “Awe look at that itsy red mark next to my platform! What wee little earthling is set to grovel at my feet?!” And tweeted a collage with Brick and David “Like father like son.”

Joel Edward McHale

December 13th: Gillian tweeted a selfie with David and Joel McHale: “Oh look who I ran into in the parking lot.”

December 15th: 
– ExtraTV released a clip interview of David and Gillian. They were presented as “David and Gillian Anderson.” Apparently, David lost his last name…
– Joel Mchale posted a little video of himself, David and Gillian where Gillian is also trying to film them but failed. She regramed the video with the caption “This was going to be MY video Joel Edward McHale!!! But then…I pushed the wrong button.”

Last days of filming

December 15th:
– Gillian tweeted a picture of Brick : “His -‘why haven’t you given me a treat I’ve been standing here for .001 of a second!’ – look.” Followed by a banter between the two of them.
– Gillian liked this manip tweet with David on a red speedo.
– A new X-Files promo was released with this sweet and true sentence from Mitch Pileggi: “David and Gillian’s chemistry is ridiculous.”

December 18th: The cover of TV Guide is out, along with a little interview clip where we learn that both David and Gillian are falling apart physically and are happy to talk about it openly to each other. There might be some inside joke explaining Gillian’s laughter, but we’ll never know…

December 21st: Gillian walk of fame ceremony has been announced for January 8th and her star will be one star away from David’s.

It’s a wrap!

December 22nd:
– Gillian has been filming David for their last scene together and posted it on Instagram twice. Here when David was so C-cold and here when he was doing his best at 4:42am – (here’s the video of all the bts shared during the filming)
– At the end of the filming, she tweeted :”25 years of night shoots, 25 years of frozen lips, 25 years of friendship.

Happy New Year everyone! 

Was just thinking of the Webbys again, with D+G being crippled. That was kind of adorable, wasn’t it? I’m still surprised by the fact they got injured around the same time!!! 😮 It was a pretty quick appearance together that day but those little moments were nice. And I’ll never thank enough the person who recorded the small backstage clip. 😍 This is the real them as they probably didn’t think they were being caught on camera! People say « Boys will be boys », I say « Gillovny will be Gillovny »!

(about the podcast): but they did say that they could not talk about it. Why would they say that they could not talk about what they saw? I can’t wrap my brain around that. If they saw them kissing or something, were they simply asked not to talk about it? Were they asked to sign something? I am so confused!

If everyone who saw them kiss would have to sign something, that would be a shit load of paper :D!

I just think it is some kind of tacit agreement between people who are allowed backstage not to talk about what happens there. I didn’t take the “we’re not supposed to talk about that” as something with a real legal issue. I think it’s more that they know they’re doing something public and are not supposed to reveal something that happened in private. It’s just common sense. But it doesn’t make it less interesting, though…

Dude you know what really got me about that podcast? The hosts said that it’s a fact – TWICE – that David and Gillian are a couple. And since they weren’t allowed to talk about something else, then that means that Gillian’s or David’s or both sides of their people were involved. So if Gillian were really with another guy then her people would have said nope, not gonna let you say what you’re saying about David and Gillian and that it’s a fact. That’s what changed my mind back to Gillovny! :-)

To be honest, I don’t believe “her people” can do anything about what a bunch of people say on their own podcast. It’s freedom of speech, and also, I think they don’t care. They’re PR, not the NSA. But, they did say it’s a fact, and I still want to know what fact exactly! I want to know what happened, what they saw and why it made them think what they think. This is disturbing and frustrating and I love it!

I know we all got very excited, abd sometimes ppl tend to get carried away when they are in that state. But I would like to point out some facts we got from the clip. Someone DID mention being told that talking about « that » was off limits. She seemed serious. That implies some kind of confidentiality agreement. Secondly, the dudes who were at the Webby’s seemed 100% positive that they were secretly banging. I’m getting the impression that David & Gillian are one of Hollywoods worst kept secrets.

Jhh girl talk to me. Where and when is this video from? Are these people legit? Insiders with knowledge? Do they do these videos / podcasts on the regular? Could this be fake?! Wtf is happening????

Hi anon! Sorry I don’t know much about them, but yes, they’re doing these podcasts on a regular basis, they obviously had some kind of insight in The Webbies, and they’re legit. No reason to doubt what they say.
They actually didn’t say much, except that they’ve seen things and that Gillian and David arrived together. So really no reason to doubt that. They’re also obviously under some secrecy agreement. So I guess we’ll never know what they’ve seen or what they think they’ve seen, but I’m assuming they’ve witnessed Gillovny in the wild, and we all know it can be confusing to say the least. Obviously, it lead them to believe they’re together, or have been together, and everything else was assumptions. They assumed their injuries were sex injuries, which of course isn’t true. They assumed some sex action happened before or during the ceremony, which is only for fun of course, but these assumptions don’t erase what they’ve seen for fact. So back to square one…

At the very least, it means David and Gillian are still more than fine, they haven’t changed the way they behave with each other, and that makes me very happy.

It’s a podcast called Roundtable of Gentlemen done by Marcus Parks, Ben Kessel (BK for BK for new Yorkers) Holden McNeely, Jackie Zebrowski, Ed Larson and various guests. Marcus and Ben do another podcast called Last podcast on the Left and it won a webby which is why they were there. I’m the one who started all this when I posted that I heard this podcast and they talked about it. I listen to a few of their podcasts, actually. Sorry I started it all! I got excited and had to share, I do think really have anyone around me to that loves XF like I do.

I can 100% confirm that David and Gillian DID NOT arrive together at the Webbys. I was outside the venue that was hosting the cerimony and saw DD arriving when the red carpet was over with some random guy. I can even show you my blurry pictures to prove you!

I believe you, I saw the blurry pictures too. They’re out there already. I think what you saw was David heading to a door, while Gillian was heading to another one, which is why you didn’t see them together. It doesn’t mean they didn’t arrive with the same car and split after that. I have no reason to doubt those people from the podcast.
