I remember that picture, I can’t find it right now, but I don’t remember if Gillian was in NY or not. Maybe.
But really, professionally speaking, I’d be very surprised if they recorded together at the same time. Usually, actors record their part separately because it makes it easier to mix all the voices together in post-production.
I guess once it’s released (hopefully before), it won’t be hard to find out where they recorded. The studio will likely be credited.
I have no idea, but I do a lot audio recording in my job, and it’s very very rare to record two or more people at the same time. So I assume they did it separately. It was probably around the same time, though and in the same place, but technically speaking, I don’t think they were standing side by side in the studio.
Maybe we will have some bts videos or pictures 🙂
I don’t think it causes anything bad regarding season 11. I’m assuming it was recorded a few months ago and meant to be released soon before season 11 is officially announced. I think it’s good, because there’s no way they’d do kind of a prequel to the revival if there’s to plan to make a sequel.
A year after Fox revived The X-Files, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are once again stepping into the roles of Dana Scully and Fox Mulder for a new audiobook. X-Files: Cold Cases, an original production by Audible, presents brand-new stories for the pair, providing a backstory to the characters’ lives between the movie The X-Files: I Want to Believe and last year’s miniseries. It will come out on July 18th.
