The X-Files has a 10-episode run this time. It started filming August 8th in Vancouver on a On a set known as “The Fortress”. And then moved onto Coquitlam’s private Riverview Lands for the rest of the week.

The X-Files: Cold Cases will be set before the events of the recent revival series, providing more backstory on the events we saw.
The new series will also be set after 2008 movie I Want To Believe, revealing more as to why the pair were pulled out of reclusion.
