I’m sorry, I may have read your posts wrong, if I was wrong I apologize but it seems to me that some people are saying that Netflix orchestrate this whole thing to promote the Crown and The Fall and to that I had my objections but if you meant that the fans mistook the situation then I apologize.

And yes, there seem to be some misunderstanding. The point is not that Netflix is orchestrating a fake relationship or a showmance. I would have a very low esteem of Gillian if that’ was what I thought.
I think it could be her promoting his show by his side, which would explain why all their appearances are linked to this show, why she’d been promoting it over and over on social media and on her official website, which is very unusual and uncharacteristic, to be honest.
To me, the romance rumor is just the consequence of all of that. It’s born because of this fandom’s freakout and it keeps living because of that. Actually, so far, there’s nothing in Gillian’s or PM’s behavior that indicate they’re a couple. It’s just us who are seeing what we want to see and kinda fabricate this possible relationship.
