I agree, also, I think he was one of the few male who was not allowed to march and was grounded yesterday, for cause of too much hotness. He would have created a riot and that was not the point.
My perception of David is that he respects the women in his life so he would let them have their « spotlight » so To speak so he would find his way to contribute in his own way as he did with the sing a thon thing. This is the way I always see him give Gillian the light to shine.
