i’m surprised your gillovny confidence level is so high at the moment when my impressions is that gillian is trying to keep her distance from david right now. last year she would’ve acknowledged his tweet about the xfiles jacket he saw someone wearing during the women’s march, but now, nada. even her tbt last week didn’t reference him directly, and it took her 3 weeks to even acknowledge what david and mitch had said.

I really don’t know how to say it anymore. I’m on Tumblr for a year and a half now, and I think it’s more than the hundred times I say it: Twitter is not real life.
I know there’s a lot of young people here, but please guys, understand that the way you / we use social media has nothing to do with the way they do it. David is in his 50s and Gillian is approaching. So before you try to see anything in the way they tweet, think about what your parents would do instead of what you would do!
We have no way to know how close they are through their social medias. You know, they have each other’s phone number. They can text, call, whatsapp, send a email, face time, Skype, talk face to face whenever they want. They have ALL these ways to communicate privately with each other without all their fandom lurking and trying to interpret their every word.
Everything they do or say on Twitter is for us. Not for themselves.
