As someone who works for a french network, I can tell you exactly how it happened. Either there was a journalist at the Berlinales who went to meet Gillian for this article, but it was clear it wasn’t going to be about the movie but about The Fall, or they had this article for a few weeks and they waited for the season 3 air date to be announced and the promotion to start to release it. 

I would go with the second solution. I think it happened by phone, the network and the magazine agreed for this interview, and then they waited to release it. I’d say it’s maximum one or two weeks old, but no more.
