I understand wanting to maintain a positive atmosphere, but now that so many people have openly acknowledged that « secrets » and « stories » are being passed around the fandom, it has created division that can’t be ignored. Someone needs to clear the air, and let the rest of us make up our minds with the facts available. By glossing over what has happened, I fear the fandom will only drift further apart. Expose it, let’s discuss it, and then maybe we can move forward.

I completely agree with you, anon! According to me, and at this point, that’s the best thing to do. But is it up to me to clear things up? I’m not sure. My story won’t be really different than the ones that have been said by others. I guess the only difference is that I’ve heard it first hand by Rose, like a few others in the fandom, that I’ve been able to reread what she told me exactly, and that I can’t be accused to twist her words and give false informations to feed one theory or another.
But again, it’s not that big. It’s not going to change anything regarding who we chose to ship and what we want to believe. It didn’t change my beliefs at all when I heard it. And besides Rose’s words, I have no proof that it really happened anyway.
