About that “story”…

I want to preface this post by saying it’s not going to be a call out post. I thought about it, I wanted to do it, I took a deep breath and calmed down. It’s not worth it.

The main reason why I’ve decided to say something on this subject, is because the things I’ve seen and read about what @gunningforabasementoffice has decided to post have been completely unfair, mostly wrong and sometimes just evil. I know there’s people around here who trust my words, so that’s why I’d like to replace what happened so everyone is on the same page.

First of all, @gunningforabasementoffice didn’t out a private story. A well known hardcore snogger blog that I’m not going to name because I don’t think they need more publicity, did it. This is the reason why we all started to receive many anons about Rose and a story about Fleetwood Mac earlier this week. I’m not going to re-tell this story. It has been done enough, I know some of you were confused and didn’t know what to believe because it seemed to be second or third hand informations, and that kind of information is obviously always twisted. There’s only two persons in here who could attest to what had been said. They’re not going to do it, and even if I admitted already I’ve been privy to hear it from one of them, I still don’t think it’s my place to make a “tell-all”. Actually, it wouldn’t change anything on what people chose to believe. Instead, I’d like to focus on the consequences of this story which have, indeed, been twisted. What I can tell for a fact is that at this point, in no way, this story can prove or disprove Gillian’s relationship with David or Peter Morgan. I’ve read that what has been said proves Gillian and Peter Morgan spent the summer together, which is completely false. Nothing in this story can prove that, nor that she spent the summer with David.

This story was told to a few of us a few weeks before the PM rumor started. At this point, for most of us, we didn’t even know who Peter Morgan was, and I still can’t explain how what has started as a cute (possibly) Gillovny story ends up being a Gillovny vs Gillorgan conspiracy. Since last October, a lot of us had received anons asking us about it. It leaked, it was spread, probably twisted, but there was a tacit agreements between all the bloggers who knew about it not to post those anons to respect Gillian’s privacy. Someone who is known to spread disgusting and wrong theories on David and Gillian has decided to break this tacit agreement, and it was the worst thing to do. But once something is out, there’s nothing else to do than explaining what happened and what you know to be true, which is what @gunningforabasementoffice is trying to do on her blog. You may disagree with her, but at least, she’s not bullying anyone, nor mocking or attacking.

In the end, true or not, this story won’t prove anything and only time will tell. The truth always surface.
