People are throwing away their WOW tickets…(an event that supports women of the world and their feminist visions and ideals) all because Gillian Anderson isn’t dating who they want to and instead dating a man who is being honored (amongst his other awards and accomplishments) at BFI dinner for his achievements and success in screenplay writing…?

Just for you information the anons doing that ( as far as they explained) are upset not of her dating PM but of her being in their views disrespectful to her co-stars by leaving her own premier of a important movie…

so stop the stupid bashing and assuming all is about gillovny or gilligan…

Okay. Fair enough. I’ll edit my original post: They’re throwing their tickets away because she left her own film premiere early to attend a partner’s lifetime achievement award dinner, and they feel it’s soooo disrespectful that they don’t want to read her books or hear her speak at WOW? Okay. (That still makes little sense to me)

When people were cancelling their book orders (very coincidentally after learning she thanked him in her book) what was their reasoning then? I’m just curious.

So what people are to feel whatever they want… Its not for you to understand them or judge their feelings on a matter… And throwing gillovny or gilligan into it is what makes no sense thats just assumptions nothing else…

Like assuming its her partner… nothing is official so yes ppl can be pissed about that because there is nothing that proofs that he is her partner… SO in there eyes she didnt leave for a partner but to attend a fancy dinner…

there are more than one way to look at things…. and when you try to see it from different perspectives you can get it and still dont have to approve it but at least you can try to understand without dismissing opinions first hand

The thing is, no one here is supposed to act like Gillian’s bodyguard. What’s happening here is people’s primal reaction to something hurting them, really hurting them, and if you’re as philanthropist as you say you are, I wish you would understand that. It doesn’t mean they really will give those tickets away, it doesn’t mean they will cancel Gillian’s book for real.

In time like this, when there’s so much hate throwing at Gillian right now, from Gillovny fans, but not only, I don’t think you’re helping anyone by blaming us. Everyone has a different way to react on what’s happening tonight. Insulting and blaming those who insult and blame Gillian isn’t going to do anything good, except raise more hate, more insults and more nonsense.
