Why do I feel like David would totally do something like that? Gillian would be embarrassed as hell and would never want to talk to him after that, but still, she’d say yes.
I have this delusional/heartwarming image of David and Gillian coming out to the public like how June Carter and Johnny Cash did in walk the line. She joins him onstage and David proposes in front of the universe, she says hell yes and he picks her up and kisses her so passionately and the crowd loses it, cheering and crying from how perfect it is and then all is right in the world. halp.
