This might be a dumb question but how do we know that isn’t David on Piper’s post? I spent an embarrassingly long time just now trying to look and see if there’s a tattoo on the man’s lower left leg. It kind of looks like there is and I tried playing with the picture lights in edit, but it just distorted it because it was taken into the sun. Maybe with all G’s partner comments, and knowing a lot of the fandom is too dumb to believe (their loss!), Piper’s posting a David pic? The abs look same.

It’s not dumb and we don’t know for sure, of course. But to me, the guy looks younger, the hair looks different than David’s and he looks shorter too. Besides that, I don’t think I’ve seen pics of him surfing since a few years. And finally, you can see how cautious and thoughtful Piper is with what she shares on IG. There’s never a picture of the inside of her house, for example, nothing with her little brothers, and she knows how to use the notoriety of her mum at her advantage when she needs it and how to be cautious and protective of their privacy too. So by all means, I don’t think she would have done that.
