You assume that for the past couple weeks she could be at L.A.with David (and other times when she’s lost from sm you have assumed they are together) but my problem accepting that is that we are talking about a woman who could only sign for 6 episodes bc that was the time her sons had off school. Isn’t more plausible to believe that every time she doesn’t have work commitments and/or when we don’t have news from her that she’s with her sons at home being a regular mom?

First of all, because life is not a fanfiction and I don’t believe they spend every minute together fucking in a pool, I assume she can still be a regular mom and be with David at the same time, just like he can be a dad and be with her. 

Then, usually, when she disappears like that, I assume she’s vacationing somewhere. Sometimes, she’s “alone” (remember Mexico, and the time she sunbathed fully naked?), sometimes we know she’s with her boys because they’re spotted with her. It’s Easter break right now, so I guess those boys must be with one of their parents right now. So they could be vacationing with Gillian somewhere, maybe they were in LA when she was spotted there, maybe the whole family is in Costa Rica with Piper, or maybe they’re with their father. Gillian and Mark share their custody, so he has to be a regular father too. That’s something we usually tend to forget. Gillian isn’t their only parent and sometimes, she’s just not with them because that’s the way it is. 

Since we still have no news from her and we know she isn’t in London, my headcanon is this one: she spent two weeks with David in LA, and now that David has resurfaced in NY, she left LA to keep vacationing somewhere with her boys as she split the Easter holidays with Mark.
