He knows both Gillian and David privately, has worked with them and with Gillian recently, if she was in a serious relationship with someone, he’d know and if he she didn’t tell him, he would know it from Twitter anyway. So if he thinks it’s okay to ship her with David so hard, I think it’s because he knows he can and he knows he’s not hurting anyone.
