Remember when we were upset that the X Files Revival was forced to go submit for the Emmys in the traditional categories because of a rule about revivals of former TV shows? I just read that the producers of the Gilmore Girls series lobbied the TV Academy to subvert the rule and allow them to submit actors in the Limited Series Category instead. This rule is why Gillian could not get nominated last year for « Home again ». Sucks that GG producers cared more about their actors to make the case.
