That’s what happen when you think she cares about us as much as we care about her, and you think she’s your friend because you shook her hand once and your eyes locked with hers for two seconds. It’s worrisome that there are adults thinking that way.
Being a fan is most of the time a one way relationship, so I understand it can be frustrating and painful sometimes, but the fantasy of thinking she’s more than your idol is dangerous.
I accidentally read something that made me choke. Last night some people (ahem they will remain nameless) who insisted that we MUST support PM because there are nights when Gillian sits there (as if fact!) thinking about her fans & all she has given us & how we don’t love her enough, don’t support her enough, don’t approve of PM. Has that Dark Side totally lost their minds?!? She doesn’t give a fuck, PM=nobody & she doesn’t need the fandom for reinforcement. She has a REAL LIFE & DD for that!
