not that it matters, but our song (i’m from italy) was actually very clever and the lyrics was full of references from classical/western culture, from ancient greek to shakespeare to marx. the lyrics at some point says « the naked monkey dances » and hence the monkey, and that too is a reference to the theory of zoologist morris, ‘the naked monkey’ (which is human beings). but portugal was nice too!
