While I’m a bit bummed too, I think think the belief that she doesn’t care about fans is incorrect. She just may not realize how invested some people are/were regarding her relationship with DD. And to your of your recent anons, I think this is a bad reason to stop liking Gillian (though I’m not saying I too am not confused).

I’m mixed. I think she knows a lot more than we think. And i think she knows how invested we are. She can see it every time she does a comic con, even more when it’s with David.

During the promo of We, she said she doesn’t care what’s said about her on social media and in the press, she doesn’t read and she has no interest in reading. So I think it shows, right now. Wether it’s a good thing or not, it’s a matter of opinion.
Personally, I think it’s better for your sanity to ignore the hateful messages, but I don’t think it’s good to live in a bubble. It seems to me that it’s important to know what your fans think about you, professionally and personally. If it was just a few of us feeling this way, I’d think she should completely ignore it. But we are a lot, sadly.
