Since Gillian is speaking out about the lack of women writers/directors in the X-Files I wish there was also someone prominent (don’t have to be directly connected to the show) to speak out about the severely low number of people of color writers/directors on the show. Growing up watching X-Files I was always surprised that even with all the male writers Scully turned out to be my favorite character, but episodes that dealt with non-white cultures were handled SO POORLY.
